Giving Birth- what did you wear?

It depends what time of year it is , although I have had 3 children and never stripped off naked. Each time I was wearing a long, baggy tshirt, 2 were born in winter and 1 in summer.Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0

I've been trying to remember too and simply can't
I was off my face on epidurals though in my defence.
This time around I suspect I might be going for a vest top.Whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re probably right ~ Henry Ford0 -
I intended to give birth in one of hubby's old t-shirts but there wasn't enough time to change into it, so I was still wearing my own shirt, which got covered in goo. I think I managed to clean it up though, and it's still in a wearable state.0

From memory I wore a big baggy t shirt and some loose jogging bottoms.
T shirt was long enough to cover what remaining modesty I had after losing bottom half. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
I took a nightie with buttons on the front, but in the end I was wearing a hospital gown.
Same here...for all 3!We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

I have birth in a bikini top, had a sheet over me for some of the time as well. It was ideal, minimum mess maximum comfort. Perfect for quick skin to skin as soon as baby was out and looked decent in first photos
. If I'm lucky enough to be blessed with another baby I'd wear exactly the same.
Sounds like a good idea especially if you were to have a water birth.
I remember that girl on OBEM wore one with a matching skirt she made!0 -
I wore a beige (yuk!) cheapo 'ahh bra', I was just glad to be allowed in the pool that I stripped off down to the bra and got in. Like someone else said, I didn't give two hoots by that point!
Wish I'd worn the black one though (but glad I didn't wear the way past it's best white one!) as it would have looked marginally nicer in the photos. Didn't even think of wearing a bikini top - would have been much nicer, assuming I could have found one to fit at that point!:j0 -
Ha ha I've never even thought about this question!! I've got nursing nighties on my shopping list but they were more for after. Guess I better start planning my birthing look!!!0

The hospital asked me to strip naked and gave me a gown. I had a January birth and it was quite hot in the hospital so I wasn't cold.
Get a wax beforehand.0
