Gosh..interesting question. Hospital gowns for all 3.0

First time a hospital gown. Second time everything - labour was so quick didn't have time to get anything off. (Went into labour en route to hospital, hadn't even booked in when baby was born!)
Midwives called me Daphne after the Neighbours scene where a woman appeared to give birth without taking her knickers off.. Obviously mine were off at the actual time but have no recollection of how/when/who!0 -
A large nightshirt which my now ex took home with him and stashed it unwashed at the bottom of the cupboard which housed the tumble drier.
As DD was born in summer, and I didn't need to use the tumble drier for a good 6 months, you can imagine what I thought when I finally discovered it!
I have no idea why he put it there, he said it's where his mum always put dirty clothes to be washed - but we had been in our own house for 8 years at that stage and the laundry basket was in the bathroom!
I did wonder where the nightshirt was, but decided it must have been too messy to wash and that he had thrown it out.0 -

I bought a man's XL T-shirt from Matalan, but ended up in a glamorous hospital gown as I had an emergency c-section. I changed out of it the next day once the drip was out and I'd had a shower.
After that I wore some mothercare maternity nightshirts, that had poppers on the front for easy access.
As I was in the hospital gown it was just pulled down for feeding and skin to skin time.
MDWProud to be dealing with my debts

Haha, this was totally me. Though in the end I did put a button down nightie on as my husband remembered how insistent I had been pre labour about keeping my dignity :rotfl: and gently pushed me into it.
Button down is best if you are wanting to breast feed too as you can easily give baby access and they usually want to feed straight away and you can do skin to skin which is totally amazing
Go for something cheap, you will be throwing into the hazardous waste bin at the end

I think I had some addidas sambas (blue), jeans, underpants (boxers) jumper, tee shirt under that and of course socks. Pretty much wore the same outfit second time round, but I think I had replaced the sambas with spezials by then. The grey and red ones, tres cool.{Signature removed by Forum Team}0
