Morning! I hope everyone has a nice relaxing Sunday
Remember to plan ahead if you are LTW'ing tomorrow!
I am working tomorrow, and will be taking a ham salad pitta with some chopped up cucumber and some baby plum tomatoes. Need to get back to healthy eating as i have 13lbs to lose!
I will be buying scales from Argos this week...eeek!0 -
Hello everyone,
Almost there on the December slog. I have had a cooking fest today made vegetarian shepherds pie, pasta sauce for the freezer and leek and potato soup for lunch today and tomorrow. I am taking a couple of slices of nice Parisian bread to go with soup and a clementine. It will be really, really cold tomorrow in the office and I am going prepared with fingerless gloves, thermal socks, two scarves and a mini hot water bottle :rotfl: oh and I am taking a flask of coffee too!
I am going to restock my treats draw at work with the dreaded crisps which I can't resist eating sometimes.

Hi!
There is no point me joining the challenge as I already take in packed lunches anyway but thought I'd make a suggestion - apologies if it's already in the thread somewhere, I've not read it all
Dried noodles, the spiced kinds that you might find in an Asian supermarket or speciality isle at the supermarket.
Normally only cost about 40p per pack (so cheaper than a pot noodle) break one up and put it in a tupperware beaker and at lunch time pour on hot water, put the lid loosely on and leave for 5 mins and hey presto! a cheap, quick, easy and (more importantly for this tme of year) hot! light lunch
I swear by them!

Well, have really enjoyed this thread - many many thanks to WantToBeSE for running it. :T:T:T Did you really do 11 out of 10, btw? You've given it 110%, as they say on The Apprentice
Looking forward to January's thread - will work out this week how many days in January I will be working.0 -
Hi guys, couldn't post last week as my laptop gave up the ghost but I managed my planned 15 days as I took lunch in on 27th. Just posted on January's thread. Can't wait!!
Thanks for all the support and great lunch ideas0 -
Afternoon all
Just munched my YS Tesco Finest bolognaise - very yummy it was but I wouldn't pay full price for it! Thank goodness it was 18p, lol
Munched my Jack's Porridge this morning but it didn't seem to touch the sides, and I'm still hungry now even after I ate my lunchWe had a late night last night and I'm pooped today so I wonder if that's causing it? I'm drinking squash etc so it shouldn't be thirst making me feel hungry. A good night's sleep tonight is what I recon I need
I think I'll make up some of the yoghurty/porridge/fruit combo tonight so that I have a change of breakfast for work tomorrow. It'll also stop the risk that I forget to use the yoghurt up
Will subscribe to the new thread in a mo, and work out how many days I'm in the officeApril 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -

We have a set but I'm not stepping on them until the first Saturday in Jan as I've decided to let the the festive season go by and then worry about it. We have LOADS of long dated snacks left from Christmas and we will enjoy them as the year goes by but will just make sure we don't have too much other naughty stuff along with it!April 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500
