First bits done outside, it is lovely out as there is little wind. Royal paws came out for a bit and climbed her favourite tree then had a drink from the pond.

Just having lunch then I'll do some more.

  • Re November challenge - I was decluttering and reorganising my bedroom. 1 Mattress and 1 old cupboard out. 5 bags of bedding to C/S. (not all mine I hasten to add - much arrived from mum's.)

CoD from mum's house now in permanent place.

Still have a way to go - need to get rid of old wardrobe unit so new CoD can come into our room (from DD1's room.)

I cannot begin to quantify how much decluttering I did at mum's this month. so many tip trips and charity shop donations. We did the final donation last Sunday morning.

When my parents moved in in 1985 it took 2 large removal vans to shift their stuff ( they had far too much). This time we got it all in 1 van (not the biggest) and it has all fitted in the flat.

I am exhausted - and totally unprepared for the impending festivities. But we did it - successfully!

    Bossy - yes; absolutely awful.

Cycling - excellent work there; but I bet you're glad it's all over.

I have washed - 4 loads; 1 lot was whizzed through TD (tea towels from work; we are down to our last one again and I washed them last time, too). Bedding and jumpers outside on line. Car washed (because it's relatively mild out) and cat litter tray washed and drying outside. Padlocks from shed and from side gate both brought in and oiled. Slash-and-burn in the garden removing dead/dying peony stems and other stuff. Looks a *bit* better.

Windows open to let fresh air in!

Ive realised if I don't post things don't get done, I thought things weren't being done as I have been posting too much but no its just me.
I think I will end up failing November challenge however I have made the bathroom cabinet that has Sat in its box since August last year so i feel that is a major achievement.
Currently have tiny asleep on me as she wouldn't settle on her own, she had a tummy bug so is a little fragile.
So here I lie watching catch up tv, a David Tennant thriller.
    Hope all are well.

Aww pigpen its not futile, can you take a little time out and regroup? Maybe do a list and anyone who can do 2/3 can have the wifi password ;) you could change it every Friday and not tell anyone until they've done their bit!

I can't do any more laundry until some is dry. Been to my friends, she said come back at 8 we'll have a wine fuelled sleepover :D been a while since I've had a really good natter. But I need a nap after being up for hours. I also took 3 bags to CS :T and I've checked the tablets are all set up and working, plus got the advent calendars out and written a letter to the kids from our visiting elves :D they are called Timmy and Trixie... Hope they are not too naughty...

Got loads done in the garden and feel better for the fresh air.

Need to tidy up the kitchen now to make space for cooking dinner.

Washing from the line not dry but drier than when it went out. Ironing and making DS3's bed still to do.

I've tidied the living room, I haven't seen more than a foot of the floor for over a week. Oh the shame.

Off to do qhc of ironing.
