Piggers, that's brilliant news :D well done!

Nicki, sad news about the poor teacher. It must be dreadful for his family to see it splashed around everywhere.

Christmas pressies have arrived. More being delivered tomorrow. Managed to get both and MiL a SGT3 for £119 from ama7on. They also have £20 cashback to be spent on purchases. Got DH to order them and as he was completing checkout he was like "eh, what message?". I'm glad I made him stop so I could check it out on the laptop because the £20 was limited to 1 per checkout so we did it in 3 lots.
He has been after a camera lens for ages. He found it for £179. Amazon sell it for £208. It also has £40 cashback from Nikon so it's worth paying the extra to be able to use the £60 credit and get the £40 cashback. :D.
I'm ravenous. Just had 2 bits of toast but am going to have to go and make more. My stomach is growling!
Have spoken to my mother on the phone. She's depressed as anything. She was diagnosed with ca bowel last Monday and had a hemicolectomy and formation of stoma last Friday. She was hoping to be discharged today but something's up with her bloods. She said if she has to stay in over the weekend she'll kill herself- (I pointed out that would be a bit harsh after what she's been through over the last week, now she's been given the all clear.) I'm sure she just wants to get out so she can crawl back into her bottle. Ah, Le Sigh.

Eta: just in case prying eyes see stuff.

Piggers Yay! £600's better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick!:D

Amber's here - golden coloured cocker spaniel, very, very sweet natured; I suspect most of the next two days will involve me sitting on the floor playing with her "Angry Bird" soft toy, or her sitting on the sofa with me, preventing me from doing my emails!:rotfl:

    We've all decluttered some hair!

Not been around much today. Went to the range and bought Xmas stuff :o a musical and LED moving Ferris wheel and a gingerbread village with a train that goes round and under a tunnel. Not something I'd choose normally but the kids adore them :D also got some outdoor lights - they had 400 LED in just short of 10m which was the perfect length, reduced too! So the plastic has taken a bash, but I JUST DON'T CARE :D

Might put the outdoor thing up at the weekend. Not doing the rest till the following weekend though.

Right. I'm going to put the littlies to bed, back later...
