Take another 2% off for body fluids soaked into carpets/floorboards
I don't know the circumstances of the death, but will find out off the neighbours (they were the ones who told me about how quickly the family had moved to get the property on the market)
But if someone has actually died in the property, is it possible to argue for more of a discount. i.e. the increased risk of ghosts and bad spirits.
I know some might laugh at this, but I have noticed these days, that it's quite common to knock down houses to prevent this happening. Such as the fred west, mick philpott, tia sharp houses were all demolished.
They even knock down the houses next door to obtain a full quarantine.0 -

Given all the details of the place the OP has given it will be readily identifiable by the executors/estate and selling agents:
So they'll know the sort of person they will be dealing with.
What goes around comes around....

I'd be more worred about gossiping neighbours with an in depth knowledge of the vendor(s) private business than the possibility of things going bump in the night. But if someone has actually died in the property, is it possible to argue for more of a discount. i.e. the increased risk of ghosts and bad spirits..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)0 -
this reminds me off the nosey person at the wake asking if the deceased left much ,
the reply was ,everything ."Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0 -
