Another possibility for 'foggy brain' is perimenopause. I currently have the memory of an ant - and it wasn't great to start with.
Take care of yourself.
Ooh a perimenopause eh ?!! I will have a Google and see if it could be whats contributing to the foggy head. Personally I think there's just too much going on in there and its all just becoming a fug. I dont seem able to concentrate on any one thing as there's always so many other places I need to be or things I should be doing. I am a list lover and it does help, but not as much as it used to.
On the coupe of times we have managed to escape for a day or so I am fine. xxxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Hello my dear, so sorry to hear things are still so frantic.
Please don't worry about not having time to catch up with others diaries. We all know you have enough on your plate at the moment.
Things are ok, except only M&5 agreed to my F&F offers. H5BC never even bothered replying. H3llifax said no chance, despite an appeal for reconsideration. 4 agreed to drop my monthly payment to £1pm. I'm hoping after a year of paying them that, they will be more amenable to F&F payments next summer.
I've booked my flights to Oz, going to see DD for 3 months on my own next year. Really excited.
After speaking to you about our bothersome relation, I took a bit of my own advice and spoke to her about her nasty vicious comments. She apologised and said she doesn't mean to be mean. I accepted her apology and hope it makes her think twice before she speaks but will have no difficulty mentioning it again if she behaves the same way in future. I hope you can find a similar solution.
Lots of love, hugs, understanding and sympathy
Granny x
Granny I'm so excited for you that the flights are booked and you will finally see DD, I know how much you have missed her .
Grr to the predators not accepting your offers.
I am so glad about your relation. I have tried to talk to her infact have had three huge fall outs. She behaves for a week or so (if you can call it that) but is then back on form !
I havent actually been since last Saturday which is a record. Im not popular but we have not had the best week with things and I have told her so, plus we have all been really ill with a rubbishy cold . I have been working until late every night and Mr PG is away . DD2 has been off school as she has been worse than anyone, so there's been alot to juggle. Despite knowing all of this, everything is still all about her and her wants and needs. She is hounding me today as she wants me to go and take the girls. DD1 is snowed under with coursework and really cant spare the time, and I haven't done a thing indoors, so really need today to do some washing, housework etc. I have told her I will try and go tomorrow for a few hours. CAnt say that I am looking forward to it though. xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Now for some money stuff which I why I'm here in the first place !!
Updated the figures a few days ago and now have £37K to go !! All but an odd 46p anyway. I suppose I really should pay that odd 46p to somebody to round the figures . Im not sure why I haven't done that ?! Feeling really pleased with the numbers though !!:j:j
All predators have accepted our payment offers after a recent review .
I have referred the ongoing Bank Charges Claim to FOS to see if we get anywhere with it. Im not holding my breath but even a gesture of goodwill payment wouldnt go amiss considering the 100 of pages of documents that they have concerning our situation over the years. We will see.
We got the new contract we were hoping for !! It was confirmed yesterday . Lovely new shiny client with potentially the chance of more work in the future if this goes well. The job Should have been for three months, but is now for two with a possible extension. It will keep Mr PG in the UK, not locally but is Mon to Fri and he may be around for the weekends. He will probably work a Saturday to keep our other clients happy or else when it ends in two months we may struggle to pick work back up, so we will aim to keep everyone happy ( as is usually the case) We have had to turn down a lot of other work to accept this, but the money was better as were the hours. Its a shame all of the work clashed. I really need to split Mr PG into lots of pieces and share him around.
A client "forgot" to pay us this week, it was the money for the mortgage ! I will have to delay that payment again which is a total pain.
More money paid to THEM, still a long way to go on that one sadly. Books were finally handed to the Accountant earlier in the week. I came clean and told her of the mess over the past year and how we had ended up in a pickle again with arrears etc . Also that we haven't cleared the bill to THEM. She seemed fairly unfazed . She knows absolutely everything about our financial situation. THe only person outside the PG Household that does, but she was fairly chilled about it and just said she will look at the books, give us the figure for next year and we will meet again to discuss an action plan.
So things are slowly falling back into place after the crappiest year on record so far. Now I just need everything else to sort itself out and things would be pretty perfect......with the exception of a £37K debt of course !!! :rotfl:
Have a good weekend everyone, I am off to write more lists xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Hi Mrs. PG......or can I call you Pinot?
You have done so amazingly well with the debt reduction but you do worry me with one thing if I'm honest
Its THEM! Tax can cause huge, huge trouble, pain and misery and arrears are dangerous! More than anything else! Would it not be a good plan to get THEM off your back? If I have learned something over the last couple of years it is just how flexible the predators can be if I have priority bills to pay. Providing you are in touch and pay something (even just a squid) they will 'allow' you to pay your tax.
Having made such fantastic progress with the predators - why not ease your foot on the predators gas pedal and get shot of THEM? You know it makes sense!! x
