Hi PG,
Sorry to hear about poor dd being so unwell and well done on balancing all your balls..!!! I get tired just reading your posts..!
Hope your other dd is doing okay with the revision and gcse's. One more week to go and then my dd has finished.. she is still so chilled about it all, we shall have to see what the results are like...I still can't understand how she got to 16 so quickly.. it only seems like months ago I was walking her to school in her wellies in the snow for her first day....Time goes too fast..
Hope you manage to get some time relaxing over the weekend.

Hello Mrs PG,
I hope dd1 is near the end now. The amount of revision sessions that her school seem to have put on is a tad ridiculous! If they put the effort into quality teaching through the year instead, then there may be no need for daft 7am starts. Hope that doesn't come across too critical - you know I teach secondary, and my aim is to get the bloomin syllabus finished so we have time to do revison in class. I get very cross with teachers who then demand extra time from pupils!
And is dd2 on the mend? Hope the antibiotics are working. I had a skin infection on my face and it swelled up like a Neanderthal. I have pics to prove it, and am unrecognisable! Dd was much littler then and didn't want to come near mummy, it was that bad.
And you? How is your back at the moment? Do keep breathing... xxNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Still balancing those balls Puzzcat , Im a dab hand at it now !!!
Glad your DD is nice and relaxed and yes its all nearly over ! Whoopee !!
DD is actually very chilled as well, it was the lead up finishing the coursework that seemed to be her main problem as she had fallen behind, but since she has officially left school and on study leave shes remarkably calm !
I just cant wait for next Friday when its done and dusted ! Shes off to an End Of Exams party and I think I will open a very large bottle of wine and toast myself !! :rotfl:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Funny you should say that Apple, shes off to Chemistry Revision at 9am tomorrow. Some of the sessions have been really helpful to her, but others not so much. You can critisise all you like I have my moments with that school as most of you know !
They have decided to bring the academic year forward so beginning in June not September, so DD2 ,as of last Monday is now officially in Year 9, with new teachers etc. Personally I think it could be a good idea, to stop the end of year slacking etc, but we are yet to see. Its causing a bit of confusion at the school from what I understand and DD2 hasn't even been there this week.
She seems to be on the mend but has little energy. She did make a cake today, and if shes baking its usually a sign she feels better. Shame she hates cake , so doesn't eat what she bakes. I am looking forward to a slice for breakfast though !
The Skin Infection you mention sounds nasty, thankfully DD's spots have now disappeared .
I'm doing ok thankyou, juggling away. If I was left to my own devices with no interference or added pressure on my time all would be running smoothly and calmly. sadly that's still not happening so is making things much more difficult than they need to be. The Back is pretty rubbish, but Im not going to complain there are many people much worse and it is a thousand times better than before the operation. I need to find some time to get to the gym to strengthen it and put my foot down in other areas to find the time to do that. That one sadly is easier said than done but Watch This Space !

What an eventful day we are having so far !!
The SpaceCat left a lovely pressie next to the rabbit run for us.I have no idea what animal the present started out to be but was pretty nasty when found by DD2 this morning. The three of us are pretty rubbish at dealing with these things but there was noone to call on to help and I decided we couldn't leave it there until Mr PG comes home so we had to be brave and get rid of it. I am not convinced it was actually left by our cat but I will spare you the details as to the reason why ! We covered it with a Crabbing Bucket while we tried to come up with an action plan of what to do with it. Eventually, I lifted the bucket, DD2 flicked it in with a spade and DD1 covered it with a tea towel. I then got the job of running down to the fields nearby to dispose of it, so in my PJs I nipped down the road hoping noone would see me. When I got to the fields the damn things was stuck to the bottom of the bucket and wouldnt come out. I ended up throwing the animal, bucket and tea towel in a bush and leaving it there. I will send Mr PG down to retrieve it in July !! DD2 was most upset as its her favourite bucket apparently and wants it back . Im sure shes just trying to wind me up, I cant even remember the last time she went crabbing ! :rotfl:
I have hoovered and polished the insides of both the cars but have yet to replace the windscreen in one and the two front tyres on the other so it still has the skinny spare on it. The tyres are pricey so I am juggling money in an effort to get it sorted.
Grass has been cut and driveway tidied and DD1 dropped off to Chemistry Revision with her foot wrapped in a bandage !! The daft child was running up the stairs this morning and managed to trip and rip her toenail off !Its pretty disgusting and made her feel very sick. She wouldn't let me near it with a plaster so we wrapped her foot in a ginormous bandage as she was worried someone would tread on her, found a very groovy looking shoe for her to put on and sent her on her merry way !! She has a party tonight though and is worried what she will wear on her foot as her toe is bruised and throbbing !! :rotfl: I shouldn't laugh but it was hilarious when she done it although it must have really hurt her as she was shaking like a leaf. She also has concerns that her toenail will be missing for Prom and we brought her Prom Shoes a couple of weeks ago which are open toed !!
After all this excitement and bearing in mind its only 11am, I am off to get a few more things done, am doing some visitations this afternoon and if DD2 is well enough she is hoping to make it to her riding lesson.
Have a lovely weekend everyone. xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
