My next proper post is going to be a long one I think, as I have so many of you to answer and thank.

I have clicked my thankyous for now on all of your messages, I haven't had time to reply as yet, or read other diaries either I am ashamed to say. :o I will get around to it though I promise !

Hopefully I will get back on track next week, so much going on. Its birthdays month, meaning a birthday practically every other day. DD2s is at the weekend, party for 50 at our house on Friday night, am I crazy ?? !! She will be 13, where did the time go ? House is currently being turned into a disco , this is an attempt at a much more scaled down version of the party her big sister had at the same age !

Work is hectic, good , but hectic. Few more clients gone to the wall this month, thankfully no money owed to us from any of them.

So many more things going on, but I will post including the news on DD1 and the damn controlled assesments !! The blinking things will be the death of me I'm sure ! Piq, fab news on the endowment, I haven't forgotten what I need to do !! :D Kerri , was lovely to see you posting, give lots of kisses to the little one. I bet she is just gorgeous.

To everyone else, Thankyou all for still reading and posting while I haven't been around as much. Lovely to see you all xxx

I will be back with a crazy long update as soon as..........

I don't think I am every going to get around to replying to everyone properly so I am going to do a quick (ish) update now.

Another £250 paid to THEM today bringing total owed into the £9K now ! Slow going but we are getting there :T

DD1 exhausted, Controlled Assesemnts, revision and coursework deadlines are draining her. She looks ill. She is currently in school eveyr night until 6pm and on Saturdays from 9 until 1. She is in school every day of the first week of the Easter Holidays, some days until 5.30. She has continued to work when she gets home. She has had no time to even begin to revise for the actual GCSE exams themselves in May / June, as weighed down so much by the coursework. Has completed two more English papers this week. Has Business Controlled Assesment next week and during Easter. Its a resit for everyone else but she wont get a chance to resit as she wasnt able to take original exam in November so she only gets the one chance. She has her Graphics Coursework deadline next Friday and her Final 10 1/2 hour final piece Art Exam the week she goes back after Easter, then the revision will begin for the actual Exams. I am sure its like this for many of the children ( although her friends dont appear to be working this hard, maybe its the courses she has taken ) but I still think the whole Coursework / Controlled assesments puts so much more pressure on the children than the old fashioned O LEvels and CSE. I wasnt as exhausted and under pressure as she is. :(We are planning to take her away for a few days to see family the second week of the Easter Holidays .I think she needs a break and its the only chance we will get to spend a few days together before Mr PG goes away, he leaves as the GCSEs start . :(

We have decided against moving , have had an estate agent in and the house if put on the market should sell for more than we had anticipated which is good news but we have decided to stick it out and carry on the craziness for a little longer.

Party for the 50 children for DD2s 13th Birthday is this evening. Have turned the house upside down to make way for them. we have a top heavy house, lots of room upstairs, not so much downstairs, so the dining table has come down and dining room made into a makeshift lounge and the lounge is now empty other than cushions thrown all over the floor, disco lights and lasers and of course loud music ! . Dining table and chairs are in our bedroom and other bits and bobs that needed moving are filling up the spare room. Not quite sure how many children I have straight from school to get ready, but no doubt a few and some are staying, again I keep forgetting to ask how many !! :rotfl: DD1 is official photographer of the night , if she can stay awake that is !

Mr PG still driving courtesy car after accident on M25, his car should be back next week which will be good. Hes now undergoing physio for his injuries which is proving a nightmare to fit in around work. I havent seen him really this week, but he seems a bit happier than he was but just as knackered. He will be home just as the party starts tonight , poor thing walking into that mayhem after a long week !!

Meeting with the bank re loan went better than expected and we have come to an arrangement to clear the arrears which we are happy with and has given us some breathing space. :)

So that's my basic update, I am sure there's been loads more going on that that. but Right now I must dash now, work beckons and sadly I cant ignore it. Hope you are all well xxxx

Thanks for popping in. Best of luck with this evening..you are cracked woman but that's said in a good way ;) never knowingly taking the easy path I'd say :)

Hope DD1 is OK. Sounds very very stressful. Holiday sounds sensible. I so hate it when people think that GCSEs are some kind of walk in the park. They are not.

    Take care..all of you.

    Lots of love

The evening was a great success, the kids were great. Lovely and polite, not too much devastation to clear up, no spilt drinks or sticky sweets lurking that I have found so far ! We are just piecing the house back together again having moved the furniture around to accommodate them all.

Great night had by all, and after Monday it is officially the end of Mrs PG's crazy month of birthdays. Whoopee !!!! :j:j
