  • :rotfl::rotfl:poor DD!!! I hope she doesn't mind us having a little giggle at picturing that scene :eek::eek:!!

And I hope you like the singing bowls enough to fall asleep to when you're in bed....not at your desk :rotfl::rotfl::p

DFW, you have to listen to this one youtube.com/watch?v=6FdkszK9W5Y !! Not ideal when you have had a couple of children and your pelvic floor isn't as it once was !!

Kerri take note, do those exercises they give you at antenatal ! xx

As I came out of lurkdom right at the end of your previous diary, I thought I would pop in and say hello here too:D

What a night and early morning, your adrenalin levels must have been through the roof:eek: Poor DD that must have been awful, hopefully she will see the funny side at some stage.

I have just had a quick peep/listen to some of the singing bowl clips, unfortunately not appreciated by the dog, she came and looked hard at the laptop and then disappeared into her bed - not a fan I think.:rotfl:

I hope that your day gets better.

I have a very good pelvic floor

Although, now I need to pee thanks to that water drops one. I shall not be listening to that before bed as I already have to pee enough times in one day! Ooh Mrs P baby has dropped! She's 2/5 engaged in my pelvis, how exciting :D (although not exciting as now have to pee all the time)

  • Hi Mrs PG

Another that's followed you over from the previous diary.

If the singing bowls don't send you to sleep a neat trick that's been taught to me over the summer is to name 2 things alphabetically so actors, movies, bands etc name 2 for each letter of the alphabet and that should calm your mind enough to send you to sleep. Definitely been working for me.

I have a feeling this baby will be thoroughly spoilt by all of its Virtual Aunties !!

As for the Pelvic Floor, I believe they are recommended whilst on the morning commute whilst sitting quietly next to unsuspecting fellow passengers !! :)

I can't believe how many of you lovely people are here on the shiny new diary already !! Its lovely to have the company .:D

Thanks for the tip Alioops, that is one I have never tried to be honest. I have attempted the usual, notebook and pen , pillow sprays etc etc. I can fall asleep fine but just wake up like clockwork at about 2 ish and am then ready for bed again about 6. Not ideal when needing to get up for work and children .

I will report back on your recommendation , thank you xx

  • I am typing this whilst DD2 has decided to dress me up as Mary. I have a blue pillowcase over my head tied with ribbon and some "religious" symbol around my neck !! :rotfl: She has just scrutinised my appearance and declared that I actually don't make a very good Mary and look more like Joseph today. Somebody get me out of this mad house !! :rotfl:

Despite the fact that I have manage too post far to many times on this diary today, I have actually been very busy and productive.

I stripped all three beds before the girls went to school, a double, kingsize and a super king. We only have one set of decent bed linen each at the moment,so they have all been washed, ironed and I have just finished putting them all back on the beds.

As far as work goes, I actually got loads done which is good and pulled in some extra work for December. :D

Had a big long chat with my mum and my sister and after making £40 on ebay at the weekend, managed to get another ten items listed this evening. It seems to still be free listing which is handy !

Other than poor DD1s Shower Calamity this morning, what I didn't mention is that the silly child also managed to mislay her school shoes this morning, last seen Thursday night as it was non uniform last Friday ! She assured me she had brought them home from dance class last week, but knowing DD1 and her penchant for losing school shoes like I do, I wasn't convinced. We found a spare tatty pair for this morning . Her school shoes over the years have appeared in numerous places but sitting neatly on top of the wheely bins in the school car park seems to have been the favourite. Anyway, they have come to light thankfully this evening , this time at the local coffee shop !! How she managed to leave them there is anyones guess, but as she said "thats how I roll !!" :rotfl:

Their first performance to the Primary Schools went well today apparently. We are going Wednesday night so thats something to look forward to and shock horror Mr PG will be around to come as well. Mum has bought herself a new outfit for her trip to the Theatre ( I have reminded her its just the School Hall, but hey ho !!) , so she will be joining us. She has treated herself to a new hat and has just sent the girls over a "selfie" of her modelling it ! She's 79 years old !! :rotfl::rotfl:

We have eaten "Wait and See Pie" for dinner which went down a treat , n pastry brushes in sight and today was a NSD, theres not been many of them of late in this house thats for sure !

So all in all a good day was had by all. Now I need to give in, sit down as my back is killing me tonight and wait for Mr PG to come home at around midnight.

Hope you have all had a good Monday xx
