Sorry everyone, Ive been a bit elusive. Its all been kicking off here again and I am absolutely exhausted I can barely keep my eyes open. Bit stressed out to say the least, the poor girls have been mopping up my tears all day and feeding me coffee.
The application form didnt make it in on time, but if I have a clear head tomorrow I will try and get everything sorted and will drop it in on Monday. I am having a panic as to how I would do this though. I have started work at about 6am every day this week and worked all day and each evening other than Wed and I have been working all day today . How can I do another job on top of that, but I feel that I need to a to bring in a regular income however small and b for my own sanity as the current job is mainly home based so can be pretty soul destroying not seeing a soul . Ho Hum ! What to do !
Thanks you for all of your suggestions. you have been so lovely and helpful as usual ! The worst thing is I help people complete application forms all of the time, write references for them you name it. It was writing about myself that flummoxed me. I'm seriously not usually this dim I swear ! I think I walk aroudn in a permanent fog at the moment.
I have managed to go out twice this week without my purse, my head is really not screwed on. Once was too Asda that wasnt too bad as I could just drive back home again. the other though was worse. I was nearly an hour from home, had parked in a multi storey car park, didnt realise what I had done until I went to draw cash from the machine and realised there was no purse. I went to a three hour long meeting racking up the hours in the multi storey with no idea how on earth I was going to pay to get out again. By the time I got back to the car the office had shut so I couldn't plead to be let out. I called Mr PG who was another two hours away from me and he remembered that an old bank account we no longer use offers an emergency cash service so he transferred money into it online, did whatever he had to to get an emergency code which he sent through to me and I managed to draw out £20 from the machine and set myself free. If it hadnt been for him I would have been sleeping in the car park I think and my girls would have been home alone all night long !
There is no hope.:o
Hope you are all having a lovely weekend. I will try and catch up on some diaries later but for now I must unload the dishwasher from last night as I havent had time and forgot to ask one of the girls. I think I may have to just pour myself a glass of wine while I do it though, it might chill me out a bit x Cheers All xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

The trick with the application form is to step back and complete it as though it were for someone else. We are always tougher on ourselves than on others. You just need to be "the great I am". What I mean is be yourself but recognise how good that is and if you need a reminder, look at your sig.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Hope you enjoyed that wine I think that you deserved it!
I'm not sure what type of work you do at home but is there any filing/typing up things that could be delegated to either of the girls? It would be valuable work experience in my eyesand look good on a c.v! As well as freeing up some time for you?

If things quieten down today I might try and take a look at it. xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

I did enjoy the wine DFW thankyou !
Theres not really much typing the girls can do as its mainly quotes and proposals, although DD2 did do some research for me a couple of weeks ago. There is a mountain of filing as always. I agree though it is great Work Experience. The girls do help with bits and pieces, its more up DD2s street than DD1 though. Not quite creative enough for her !
They could do it, but DD1 in particular is totally snowed under with school work and still playing catch up after missing school last term, so if she has free time I am trying to encourage her to do the things she enjoys, but I must admit I could do with a bit more help particularly around the house ! But couldn't we all ?

Quick question if anyone knows the answer please.
I have just received a letter from the bank advising me that they have downgraded our bank account at our request.
We did have a bank account with a fee of £25 a month. We have had this for about 13 years at the suggestion of the bank. I know that soudns alot to pay particurly int he situation we are in, but within the £25 we get full national breakdown cover for both cars which without the amount of driving we do is required, insurance for four mobile phones and Mr PGs I pad in the UK and overseas, fully comprehensive travel insurance, again a necessity as Mr PG is frequently abroad and various other benefits all of which we utilise , many for the business and which individually would cost more than £25.
I am really angry that the bank have made these changes without our consent as it will actually now cost us more to cover the above. Our old bank manager did suggest we downgrade about two years ago and when we explained why we were not doing so he agreed it was better to stay as we are. He also told us that the bank could not change our bank account without our consent.
I am unsure if this is correct or not. Does anybody have any experience of this please ? xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

hang on..at your request? Surely thats an error for a start?
generally banks do try and change terms and conditions from time to time but yes usually they can't actually do it if you resist. Your problem will be that you cant easily just flounce off elsewhere
Try and find out some background..why now?MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal
