    Thank you for updating your diary, Mrs PG. It's good to know things are, at last, looking up financially - and well done for appealling the decision. It takes a lot of patience to work your way through the labyrinth and it sounds as though yours is well and truly being rewarded. Good on you!

    Oh goodness ... Pastry Brush Pie, I have never lived it down !! :rotfl::rotfl:



    I can confirm that my baking skills have not improved over the years, I was asked recently to make a specific item for the buffet table at a party . What they asked me to do filled me with horror but I gave it my best shot.



    What they got was what should have been finger food sized, dainty little bites to pop in your mouth in one go , something that could have be shared with a least four people which was raw at the bottom !! Needless to say they went in the bin and I arrived with a bunch of flowers instead and many apologies. I did supply photographic evidence and I think the hostess was very relieved that they hadn't ended up on her beautiful buffet table !! :rotfl:I don't think she will be asking me to help out again !!
