    Hi PG,

Sorry but I did have a giggle at you and Mr PG hiding your keys... :D

Congratulations to DD1 for her place at uni and passing her driving test :T.. does that mean that the PG mum taxi won't need to be used as much and will hopefully free up some of your time for you?

Good luck in Bath, I have never visited but understand it is a lovely area. Not one of the uni choices for my dd so I am unlikely to get a visit anytime soon...

Well done DD2 in her singing competition.. what a talented family you have. :T

    Take care,
    Love Puzz. x

Just catching up..enjoy Bath - agree its lovely but hilly so if DD1 goes there she should save money on gym membership if she simply walks or cycles everywhere!

Glad you got the offer...but clearing houses is never fun. Best of luck with that and make sure you rope in everyone to help

    x

DD1 has had her heart set on a bike for a couple of years now. One of those trendie ones with a little basket ont he front ! I think she envisages herself cycling around Bath, with the wind in her hair, carrying kittens and flowers in her basket while she smile sand waves to the passers by ! In reality , the thought of actually pushing the bike, hot and sweaty up the hills as she probably isn't fit enough to ride up them hasn't even crossed her pretty little mind !! :rotfl:

Nope the house clearing isn't fun, but needs must. I quite like doing it on my own at my own pace , but will rope in help when the time comes to shift the heavy stuff.
Hope you are having a good week Mrs B xx

Hey Puzz, I have just finished catching up on your diary.

So glad to hear you are making the self managed jump and about the CCA request.

I am hoping that my taxiing duties, at the weekend at least will be reserved mainly for DD2 now, so I may indeed have some free time. DD1 is insured on the car that Mr PG is driving, but as when it suits we will swap cars so she will occasionally have use of it mid week as well. :)

Bath appeared to go really well yesterday , a nice 71/2 round trip and five hours at the uni. I was pretty exhausted when we finally made it home after a detour to collect DD2 from a friends house. She was ready for bed in her PJs and dressing gown when we arrived. We should hear back within the week. Two more interviews next week. I shall be glad when this is all over to be honest , my weeks are flying by and I'm falling further and further behind with other things. Its all for a good cause though of course !

DD2 is looking forward to the final tomorrow. She has come down with a cold though, so we are hoping that she manages to keep it at bay. Think she is competing against about 15 others now, a mixture of vocal and various instruments, groups etc. Its the taking part that counts, so whatever the outcome, its just for fun and she has enjoyed herself int he process. Mr PG is traveling home from Birmingham tomorrow night to come and support her.

    xx

Just a quick food for thought type message really.
After reading Puzzcats diary earlier, I see that Puzz, Brogden and January all appear to have sent in CCA requests to their Predators recently.

I would urge anyone even considering approaching their Predators with a CCA request to give it a go. Our story with PRAT had a happy ending as you know, although it was pretty stressful at times. There is nothing to lose, in my opinion , by at least asking the question "can they provide the paperwork " Most of us feel an inherent need to clear the debts, feeling guilty that we have run them up in the first place for whatever reason , but the flip side of the coin is that often these debts have already been paid ten times over, just in interest payments. I know that ours most definitely had.

Our other PRAT debt( also MBN@) has been on hold for over 2 years, with only the odd peep out of them. No paperwork has come to light as yet, certainly nothing they could reply upon in court, and hopefully it will stay that way. The A33ow debt (MBN@ again :o ) is the same , infact they have been even quieter. ;)

Our Crapital Uno debt, currently with FREDS have recently written to say that the account is up for review. I have replied with the same photocopied letter ( just a change of date ) that I have been sending them since 2012 without an updated I&E . That seems to suffice.

At some point I will request a CCA from them as well, but for now that one is on the back burner while I take a breather, but for anyone out there sending in their requests I just wanted to send a very big Good Luck to you all xx

    Good post Mrs PG

Having a good week, thanks. 'Bitty/here and there' work wise, but am getting into it and at least it gives me time to think about money saving schemes and the odd piece of bus dev :D

    Hi Mrs PG,
Have caught up a little on last few posts, busy times I see!
Well done to DD on offers and passing driving test - I'm afraid my DD is hiding her head in the sand and although she can more or less drive has abandoned everything since she went to uni - she has had her theory for nearly a year and just has not got round to booking lessons to get through her driving test. makes me  as it seems like a waste of the lessons I paid in her upper sixth year.

Oh - Bath is beautiful and a really good uni (says one who went there!) - I absolutely loved it. The uni is at the top of a really steep hill - great for keeping fit as others have said, although as students we hitched lifts up the hill all the time - would be interesting to know if that still happens!

Sorry to hear the keys thing got so extreme Mrs PG but I hope Bath cheered everyone up. It's a terrific city, just great.
    Better is good enough.
