I've been here nearly 3 weeks already and it's just fantastic. DD has found herself an absolutely smashing place to live, close to the city but also close to the water and stunning views. Her little cat is delightful and keeping me company on the days DD is otherwise engaged. DD has also started seeing a lovely guy, who is my hero because he's a Chiropractor and has been treating me for free.

I'm walking loads and eating really healthily so have added to my weight loss from before I arrived. I've still got a way to go but am feeling so positive and happy about it that I know it'll happen.

Life is very good and so its lucky I have DGC and OH to go home to as otherwise I may be tempted to stay.

I hope things are good in your world and that happiness turns into happy in a happy way

    Lots of love

    Granny

PS Dearest Pooh has just had a new DGS so is now Grannyx2, I've happily given the title to her

Granny , you are great keeping me updated on all the news, what would I do without you ?

I cant believe that the lovely Pooh is now a Granny x 2 ! I am going to be a Great Auntie very soon and I cant wait.

Your visit sounds idyllic and I agree its lucky that you have everyone to come home to . I am still harbouring thoughts of escaping to the other side of the world, but its not to be at the moment. When and if the time is right I will be in touch with Gargrave. Never say never I suppose but my feet are still very itchy and a change of scene would do us all good I think.

You sound like you are having a wonderful time, how much longer do you have left ? xx

Just dropped by this morning to update the National Debt again. Its getting smaller, slowly but surely ! I am getting very very impatient though and just want it long gone !

Had some bad news last night that one of our clients ( a pretty good one at that )is no longer. It has kept me awake all night worrying, but I know if Mr PG were here he would tell me not to , and that things will be just fine ! He isn't here though, he is away for the week, so I will no doubt continue to wind myself up over it ! Work for this week though is busy and each day completely full, so we will continue to take each day as it comes and hope for the best !

Must dash again now, I have a busy day ahead, thankyou to those who posted above for dropping by xx

Hello Mrs PG, Nice to see you back even if only occasionally:)
I am glad you have seen more of MR PG and are getting in some quality family time with DDs 17! another year and she'll be off to uni maybe - if so have you been through all the application process?
Sorry that you have lost a client, it is really hard being self employed. We had a really quiet summer last year then everything cam in at once at the end of the year and we had to work all over Christmas. We are just waiting for things to pick up now too, so know how you fell. Try not to worry (easily said, not easily done!)

Enjoy your spring corner....sounds lovely and the quiet me time. Despite the chaos and everything that needs doing inside the house I have been outside today pottering and enjoying spring too. Yellow is my favourite spring colour :)

Stay happy, whichever way you can :)
    Love n hugs

    Morning All,

Just wanted to drop by and wish everyone a Happy Easter. I hope you are all having a lovely weekend and that the Easter Bunny has visited !

He appears to have been to our house , but as the girls are still sleeping soundly in their beds we have no crazy Easter excitement, but I guess as they get older that will lessen.:(

I decorated the house last night , the Easter Decs didn't make it out of the loft last year, so I was determined that wouldn't happen again. The Tree is decorated and in the middle of the dining room table, the Easter Egg tea lights are on the fireplace and the daffs and Easter Chicken in the kitchen. I had a few hanging eggs leftover so they are displayed on the kitchen door handles and I managed to decorate the mirror in the downstairs loo as well !! DD1 said it gave her something to look at whilst she was int here ! :rotfl:Mr PG thinks I am crazy as he keeps reminding me that we don't have little ones in the house anymore, but I love to decorate the house and I don't really care :D . Mr PG has today off of work, so we will have an Easter Lunch together later, along with DD1s boyfriend and we are planning on spending the rest of the day trying to tidy the garden. Lord knows it needs it !

Hope you all have a lovely Day xxx

    Hello lovely PG!

Glad to hear work is picking up and the national debt is going down. Well done for keeping on. Its always hard being a freelancer, the uncertainty is ever present. DDs sound ace, just wish other family members could be more considerate. 1000% more considerate in fact :(

All good in Brizzleland. I will try and pop in more frequently in future

    Big hugs

    xx

Pinot (if you don't mind the over-familiarity) I've read huge chunks of both your diaries and I have to say you are one of the most positive, upbeat people I think I've ever come across, and your devotion to your family really touched me. I hope you're doing okay because you haven't posted for a while.
    Better is good enough.
