Thanks for all your kind words.

I believe she died of Hypothemia, I'm not sure if I spelled it right or how you get it but I don't want to push my friend too much for answers.

Oh Lordy. Dreadful situation. So sorry for the loss of that little girl.
FWIW, I would have used my phone to summon help.
Last winter when there was snow on the ground, DH was driving and I was rummaging in my bag. He suddenly said "Shall I stop?" "Eh?" "He's having a fit!". So I had to jump out of the car, run back down the road and kneel down in the snow to see to this decidedly dodgy looking fella. Before I had my gloves off, there was a crowd of four people around me, all getting their phones out to call an ambulance. All stayed with me and the chap until the ambulance arrived which was quite a while due to the awful roads.
As soon as I got close to the chap I made an assumption that he was having an alcohol related fit (which proved to be the case) but I still assisted him. I couldn't have brought myself to just walk away and leave the poor fella.

    Hypothermia on a shopping trip.

How awful! That's certainly not something most people would ever expect. Even in this slightly colder snap.

Condolences to the poor girl's family.
