I would like to ask why my letter to RCVS complaint department chairman has been removed as well as few more posts that were significant ? I really do not know what some people are about. Put your head in the sand and ignore what is happening is not the answer not to me anyway and that is what people seem to suggest I do.
I think the only stress I am going through is not dealing with what had happened to my dog but dealing with some people on this forum and the forum itself. I therefore decided that using this forum really is not for me and I will not be posting here again.
To all the helpful people thank you again.0 -
I would like to ask why my letter to RCVS complaint department chairman has been removed as well as few more posts that were significant.I have got a legal insurance with my house policy. They are looking through my case and if they think I have 50% chance of wining will give me go ahead.
I fear, that this thread may be locked, like your previous one.
Oh, and on legal cover. When someone bumped my car, my legal cover kicked in. Not so I got my money back, but also my insurance company did so. Hence, we went forward. As there is likely to be a lot of upfront expense, I doubt it would be even considered.
Now take my advice, get another dog, and care for that. Yes, it was unfortunate that your previous one died. Move along now.Blackbeard_of_Perranporth wrote: »in looking for the answer you want, the necessity of truth gets clouded.
I could of said on my Tiger is Hyperventilating thread, Tiger dies ten days after vet gave tablets. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4781048
I already have!0 -
Just in case you missed my letter that was removed here it again:
I write....
Hope to be hearing your comments."
I just hope you haven't sent this letter.
It is too emotional, too long, verging on (if not actually) libellous and disrespectful. You may not have a good opinion of the RCVS and its procedures, but when engaging with such a body, you have to choose your words very carefully if you want them to review a decision with which you disagree. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -

No I haven't sent it yet , it is in the envelope ( with the forensic vet report inc) on my table to be posted tomorrow. Yes, you are right maybe it is too emotional but I am not a layer I am a person who sufered a loss through negligence and the letter represtents how I feel with regard how they dealt with my case. I don't think there is enything libellous in it as all I have written are facts that I can support. If you think there are libellous statements maybe you could advice me which once so I can remove it from my letter. As for a disrespectful that I admit the letter is a bit but the reson I wrote this letter is not because I was hoping for them to re-instate my case as I know there is no way they are ever going to do, but now having the expert report I feel that I have been taken for a bit for a fool by RCVS.0 -

I am afraid you may find this beyond the scope of your house insurance. Unless you are prepared to pay for professional advice, and be prepared to stump up a surety as well, you may find yourself out of pocket.

After my forensic vet informed me yesterday that he could not make contact with my ex-vet it was decided that I should start court action today. However I had a unexpected phone call today from my ex-vet insurance brokers advising me that my ex-veterinary practice has been sold, but my file was passed on to the practice's insurers who are dealing with this matter. So I did not sart any court action yet.
As for the advice to get another dog I still have 2 dogs, 3 cats, 1 Parrot, 5 chickens and fish. Maxie should still be with me too but unfortunately I took him to the vet.0 -

Even with that report, your case is incredibly weak. Be prepared to lose and therefore owe the other side a potentially substantial amount of money.
What a load of rubbish.
In what sense is an independent report 'incredibly weak'? Such a report is exactly what the courts would expect to see.0 -
Isn't the point of a forensic report to ascertain in their view what happened? It's then a solicitors job to use the report to settle the case. Why would the forensic vet then try and contact the original vets to obtain a settlement for you?
To all intents and purposes it could look like you have employed them to try and settle the claim, this in turn reduces the validity of their report as they are no longer impartial.0 -
