John Lewis confirmed they are not receiving product until 9th, so refunded my vouchers based on false advertising.

I'd like to see your communication from John Lewis that confirms that this is the reason why you got your vouchers refunded, but I suspect I'll be waiting for a very long time.

It doesnt sound like false advertising - it just sounds like a simple stock issue.

And I cannot believe that rabbits do not give bears alarm clocks. I have seen the evidence.

Damn, I knew I should have recorded my phone call for you. Sorry, next time I will be sure to place a tape recorder near the phone when I ring customer services.

Check Twitter for John Lewis and Xbox one. I am out of here.

Actually John Lewis have a premium reputation for a reason. Nothing to do with false advertising, everthing to do with keeping the customer happy.

He was being funny/sarcastic since someone didn't believe that JL had said they were guilty of false advertising.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride
  • Lowest form of wit....

Rumours now are that limited stock was available to order at 5am. So saying available to order at 12:00 am was misleading. Mixed messages from JL, but someone on twitter had family member stay up all night...and it became available to order at 5am....not 12 am as advertised.
