It's a bl00dy phone for God's sake. Not something like a new medical device that you need to stay alive.0 -

I'm not in Africa any more. (but I couldn't be ar5ed to get my id changed)
I'm currently in the Caribbean (where it's currently chucking it down), but you would be amazed how much it does actually rain in West Africa and I've been in places where is does get pretty cold at night.
This is what I have to look forward to over the next 10 days:

Hi,
My apologies for wanting to spend money I earned on a product I want, in a timescale that suits me.
John Lewis confirmed they are not receiving product until 9th, so refunded my vouchers based on false advertising.
Why do I want one on launch day? Because if I don't get one now, it is likely post christmas.
Is my son a spoilt brat...no, I lied it's actually for me!
I wasn't stood in the rain camping out, I was in my underpants in the comfort of my own home pressing a refresh button. It went from "available to buy at midnight" to "out of stock" at the stroke of 12....why? Because they never had any stock....
But I guess it's me in the wrong.

How do you know they never had any stock ? Maybe your clock was slow ?0 -

Because they told me at 8:30 am this morning they were not showing as having sold one unit. Hence my refund. Later when checking on refund they confirmed 9th Dec delivery of stock. Out of stock with not one sale...yeah, maybe I was too slow trying to purchase at 12:00:00.001 am.0 -
And I wasn't going by the clock per se. Pressing refresh every second from 11:55 to 12 to watch the site go from "available to purchase at 12:00" to something else. It went straight to out of stock, cause they had none. Clocks don't come into it.0
