No it's not. Just pointing out how idiotic and shallow people are to fall for a load of marketing hype to the extent that it matters whether you get what is basically a toy, this week or next week.
You would think it was drugs for a life threatening disease.
Talk about first world problems.
Find it rather depressing myself.
Sorry to disappoint you, but I suspect you're going to get rather a lot of 'first world problems' on an internet message board about consumer issues.
Maybe you were looking for IWantToWearSackclothSoICanFeelGoodAboutMyself.comWhat fluffnutter was alluding to is the absurdity of it all.
So because it's something they wouldn't choose to do, it's absurd?
A post wittering on about delayed gratification is utter b******s0 -

Teaching your kids that an appropriate response to not being able to get a possession IMMEDIATELY is to be 'livid' strikes me as really quite depressing. If you want to breed the next generation of selfish, demanding, greedy kids you go right ahead. Excellent point fluffnutter, so very true. I buy next to nothing before Christmas, but will be online for the start of the JL sale with my wish list. I might have to wait a few days to get the goods, but I'll be £1000+ better off as a result.0 -
I feel exactly the same when I see the queues of people outside somewhere like an Apple store all waiting (sometimes for a day or two) so they can be the first peole to get their hands on the newest iphone.
It's a bl00dy phone for God's sake. Not something like a new medical device that you need to stay alive.0 -

So you don't get excited about anything unless it is lifesaving?0 -

Not about getting it 24 hrs or a few weeks before some other people though. Why would that be exciting?
For fans of video games it is exciting to play the latest games.. the same as some people like to see films on the release date. I personally will wait till after xmas to buy either the PS4 of XB1, however I don't see an issue with wanting the latest console on release date..0 -

Same with new model cars.0
