Hi I am needing some advise/help re fleabay, my DH bought an item after asking the seller a question that he answered to the positive, the item arrived yesterday but does not have the function that DH asked about, my DH thinks that seller just said what he new my dh wanted to hear to make the sale, any way we now have a £1300 item that is not the right one and the sellar has agreed to it's return if we pay the postage but I have looked and it is going to cost about £65:eek:, sellar charged £15 on the listing - so my question is who should be pay the return post us or the seller, thanks for reading my epic tale :)

Good morning all, late one this morning but I fancied a lay in!

We are also going to the Tesco thing tonight, assuming they take the email confirmation as the invite! Don't lose too much if they don't, only 15 minutes walk away.

They didn't ask us for anything at all, not even our names. I'm amazed really -there were around 40 of us all milling around upstairs in one of the staff rooms with very little control over who was where. They didn't have a list of who was on the premises - in the past I've always had to sign in with arrival/departure times whenever Ive been 'backstage' in a supermarket.

Shouldn't worry - I went last night and there was only about 10 people there apparently HO cocked up big time and very few invites went out! Goody bag very poor - but drinks and food very generous and staff very chatty. On way out of store they announced all shoppers to join them for a glass of champagne and food. Shame really as T's seemed to put a lot preparation into this evening than before but forgot to invite anyone!:rotfl:

We made usual amounts of everything last year but with mum being so poorly we knew it was not all going to get eaten so we froze it there and then. Will come in handy this year if DD1's baby arrives and xmas dinner is a rushed affair. :D

I think you want to see what I have hiding in my freezer....are you after my meat. :rotfl:

I would open a PayPal dispute if you feel it is significantly not as described. I think they can make a determination if the seller was unwilling to refund, but as he is I don't think they can enforce return postage as well but it ensures the issue has been formally logged. Maybe ask the seller for the courier he used and most importantly ensure you have a tracking number to prove the seller receives the returned item.

Thank you, as I suspected, the sellar is not being unreasonable as he has offered to pay £15 towards the return postage it is just that we will be out of pocket by over £50 because he answered a direct question wrongly, but thats the risk with fleabay:o
