People have donated for funeral flowers, I am not about to spend other peoples money on something else.
When I first saw the suggestion of "MSE" instead of "Elite", I was a bit miffed and put out, because the suggestion for the collection came from people on this board, as did most of the donations. A couple of people from the coupons board have also very kindly donated, and they approached me to do so.
However, thinking about it, I do still like the original idea of "Elite", but I am also coming round to "MSE". I also quite liked the idea of "MAD", as I thought it would have made him chuckle, but I also think that shouldnt be done without his family's say so.
So, for now, we need to decide between "ELITE" and "MSE". My personal preference is for "Elite" but I will go with what the majority say.
I'm not going to post what I was originally going to, as the thoughts of where this could end up make me feel quite
I have spent a lot of time this week doing this and I would rather not be made to feel like I have been wasting my time.
QOC you have done a great job in very emotional circumstances. I think a floral tribute is a great idea and gives a public declaration of people's sentiment. If I was to choose I would go with Elite as originally proposed.
I for 1 am very grateful for your efforts in making this happen.0 -

Hi everyone,
Firstly - I was so sorry to hear about Madmuppet - RIP Mad, you will be missed. :A
I was just checking my receipt on the APG from yesterday and have found a little glitch on the Hartley's low calorie jellies.

The jellies are on offer at 6 for £3 at asda and the trigger is the cranberry & raspberry flavour which isn't showing on the APG. I make it somewhere around an 84p return so £2.16 for 6 instead of £3 - like I said it's only a little glitch, but better than nothing if you would be buying them anyway!

Im sure the people that have made suggestions are only trying to help, and no one is trying to make you feel like you've wasted your time.
I personally don't mind what word or phrase is used for the flowers. I think the sentiment behind them and the fact that we've all had the opportunity to contribute is far more important.0 -

Hi QOC, your efforts have not gone unnoticed, and will not be for nothing.
Perhaps the best way to decide this, is to ask the family.Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -
Finally made it to IKEA for dinner :j
We managed to park in a parent and child space but 3 of them are taken up by hire vans who I suspect are the contractors cleaning the windows
Is it worth me taking photos? Should I complain and who do I complain to?
Am really annoyed as theres only 10 of these spaces and theyre using 3 of them
Def complain...it really winds me up to see people using these bays that clearly shouldn't!:mad:QOC you have done a great job in very emotional circumstances. Agreed and thanks for your efforts this week QOC, you have done a great job !:D:T:T"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

Looks like I'm stuck with £50 of clothes that are useless to me then. I thought people on here had returned without a receipt and got it back on a gc, or am I imagining it?
What i have done is take them back with original reciept, exchange them for something else that is a little bit more expensive and pay the extra. Then a few days later take them back with the second reciept and get a refund either in cash or with a gift card:j rolo-polo1965 :j0 -
