I was in T cs yesterday and there was a lady who had been overcharged on a vtech airport toy was charged 25 when the sel said 18.50. SA went and looked and came back with yellow sel stating 18.50. The SA gave her the difference of 6.50. I piped up and said shouldn't have been Dtd. She then said no only on certain items, thats strange I said I have had dtd on toys before. She then said its a new policy.
I told the lady to contact T h/o on their free phone number and check.
Anyone else had this problem? Has T changed their policy?
    TIA

This happened to me too in T bought a BBQ from a promotional stack half price, charged full price.
Went to cs got given just difference, i asked about DTD and pointed to the sign behind the cs desk and was told it doesnt apply to yellow price labels as they have the date on them. I asked to see a manager and argued my case he wouldnt budge either.
I then wrote to H/O wrote i should have been given DTD and they wrote back to state the same as i was told instore if it has a date on it they dont have to give DTD.
It has only happened in this one store, so maybe they have made up their own policy?

Not sending flowers is not an option.

People have donated for funeral flowers, I am not about to spend other peoples money on something else.

When I first saw the suggestion of "MSE" instead of "Elite", I was a bit miffed and put out, because the suggestion for the collection came from people on this board, as did most of the donations. A couple of people from the coupons board have also very kindly donated, and they approached me to do so.

However, thinking about it, I do still like the original idea of "Elite", but I am also coming round to "MSE". I also quite liked the idea of "MAD", as I thought it would have made him chuckle, but I also think that shouldnt be done without his family's say so.

So, for now, we need to decide between "ELITE" and "MSE". My personal preference is for "Elite" but I will go with what the majority say.

I'm not going to post what I was originally going to, as the thoughts of where this could end up make me feel quite :( I have spent a lot of time this week doing this and I would rather not be made to feel like I have been wasting my time.

By accepting the refund, T have got out of paying DTD, as this is seen as case closed.

When on the phone to H/O last week, the advisor asked if I had accepted the refund, which i hadn't, but nice try by H/O...

The yellow sel is usually the culprit, being out of date so the deal goes through at full price, not the price offered on the SEL.

It is not the customers job to check the expiry date on the sel, that is what Tesco employ staff to do...

Was refused a gc refund on a clothing return when I'd lost the receipt. Had anyone else had this or did I just get a trout serving me?

I've always been told I have to exchange, never given a refund, I think the best thing to do is to exchange for clothes a bit more expensive to get a new 'clean' receipt then use this to get a refund onto a gift card.
