I had a phone call from the Dr surgery a couple of days ago - the weight management section. It wasn't a random thing, by the way 🤣. In short, she'll be calling me again in 4 weeks to see how I'm doing. So I have her checking up on my weight and my friend being sent pics of my fat %. I hope that this pincer movement has the desired effect!!!

Somehow I don't have much to say during the hols!

Pip has been to all the revision sessions he could. He's also met up with various friends, bouldered, been to the M a couple of times, and slept a lot.

Today I'm v excited to announce that I've hung the washing up outside 🤣. No need to double spin it. And the combination of wind and sun should hopefully get it dry.

The apple tree is flowering - must be at least 3 weeks early. And the rasps are flourishing - I didn't cut them back to ground level last autumn, so they are having a wild growing time with early fruits appearing.

Pip'll dance this afternoon and I'll drop a couple of bags to the charity shop, and hunt for a particular shade of green wool for the Snowman's hat and scarf. I do have the right colour but it's mega thick wool that then decides to fall apart when I separate the strands. It's okay for the scarf, but not the hat. So that is my mission.

Another really good sesh at the Maudsley for Pip today. Yay!

I also did a good gym sesh, a liddle shop, laundry, tutoring and finished my book 😎.

In the last 3 days, Pip's made it through returning to a super full day at school where he also stayed late to work, a partial day with a lot of travelling and a therapy session, a mock exam and staying late to do art work. He is officially wiped out and his body is showing that he has reached his limit. So I am keeping the poor mite off school tomorrow so that he can sleep in and then do some art in preparation for the exam next week. I'll be so glad when it is over - though nowhere near as relieved and glad as he will be!

I dropped Pip off at the station an hour ago for him to travel into Lunnon for an event. I know he needs to branch out and try new things and be independent, but he has been so dependant on me/us for so long that it's hard!!!

Hope Pip's first independent foray into The City has gone smoothly and you haven't spent too much time anxiously waiting for him to head home!
