I'm up to 31000 steps! We had a good wander round Penzance charity shops and I got some felt, Sox for my niece, 3 old annuals for dc for Dec, and some pillowcases and a duvet cover to cut up for elephants. And 4 rings that dh can give me in Dec.Tomorrow we are hitting St Ives in the morning. We've been told that the train trip along is fab, and it only cost £10.99 for the two of us. Then back to Penzance to walk to Marazion. We're planning to catch the bus back!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!6

Over 34000 steps today. Not planned! We 'did' St Ives then dropped off what we'd bought back at the house, cos it was heavy. And then set out to Marazion. It's a long way into a strong headwind. The causeway wasn't fully clear when we got there, but a pesky wave soaked our feet so we just carried on and squelched around the mount 🤣. On the return, we would have had to wait for 55 mins for the bus, so decided to head back on foot. Hence the quantity of steps! And clothes that all need a wash because they're all covered in sea spray. And walking shoes that also need a wash after their dip in the sea. And bodies that also need a clean. Very grateful for hot water.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!5

And we had yet another fab journey and got back home in 6 hours, including a couple of breaks to nip to the loo and swap driver. It is lovely to be home!

Thank you! We did so much between us whilst there- Penzance, St Ives, walk to and from Mousehole, walk to and from Mount St Michael, charity shops, a few presents bought (all DH and me); pip did Tate St Ives, St Nicholas chapel on the island at St Ives, Barbara Hepworth sculpture garden, pottery session, Penlee art gallery, and lots of sketching sessions. It was worth it!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!6

Pip is now rock n rolling under the duvet. Completely crashed out, understandably. I'm about to cancel the eye test I made for pip, thinking that today would be a good choice of day!I have spent since 8.30 popping in to see pip, to 'wake' them - cos they didnt want to have a really long lie in. And 2 loads of laundry are out on the line. DH is out at work (had to be up at 5.45, poor thing). I've done two zuzka light 5 min workouts. Think I should do some cutting out as I bought a few pillowcases and a duvet cover to make elephants.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!4

Welcome homeMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!2
