Fortunately, big sis is here and is giving hints and tips. Dc has learned to pick out You are my sunshine, and big sis is tutoring on getting chords for it with the left hand. Awesome stuff. It is all very musical and lovely. Rather echoey and the deep notes linger for a lonnnnng time!

Just finished watching Whiskey Galore. Gotta love that film 😎.

The morning mayhem is complete and big sis escaped home early on.

Now to start the pm stuff. In the end, I think dc and I will be getting the bus rather than me driving dh to where he needs to go and then driving on to the venue and fretting about parking. Cos there is none at the venue! It'll mean us leaving earlier but is much simpler. I've found out that the c0sta local to the venue is open until 5 and dc is there 2.30-5.30, so sounds like I'll defo end up there. The car would have been nice to go and sit in, but this will make me go out and about and walk for a bit, I hope... Until it is dark and murky at any rate.

Dc thoroughly enjoyed the panto and the group of people they were with. They were an eclectic mix but all v friendly. The bus journey was simple and I'm pretty sure dc will want to go and meet up with them again. I went walking and totalled 18k for the day. My feet were sore!

Today, dc has struggled to wake up and is not doing well. Lots of issues buzzing around their head. Dh has gone out to hunt down gf chicken nuggets as our usual reliable sainz had an empty shelf- yep, guess what got shunted aside to make way for all the festive stuff. Sigh. We do have just enough to take us to Boxing day, but I reckon we'll be hitting 0cad0 later today.

We now have a piano stool and some sheet music courtesy of some super generous friends. And it's a proper stool, one that has a lid. Like a commode for piano music

I got our lemon roulade for cmas day for 79p courtesy of £2 off + 15% off coupons! The chap behind me couldn't believe the price (it was the only thing I bought) and looked all set to run and get one until both the cashier and me said 'coupons!'.

0cad0 are due here between 7-8pm and have no substitutions. But we did have to spend £90. Eek.

Dc has been out this afternoon with a friend in town. Cue one nervous mother! I took dc to the bus interchange and saw them on to the bus, then picked them up when summoned 3 hours later. They had a fab time and enjoyed being in a super busy crowded place (???? !!!).

In the meantime, I hit some Ch shops and got a few more bits for bargain prices.

I have been knitting. Got the urge! Then realised I didn't have the right colour wool (pale pink). So added it to my ' look first in the Ch shops' list. And today, DC met another friend outside so I visited some new ch shops and found pale pink wool in the first one!!! Then took dc elsewhere and revisited yesterday's ch shops and got fluffy white (for Santa's beard), plain white, bobbly white, plain black, sparkly black. Total spent on wool :£5. Happy Apple!
