Good luck!  Sorry I can't help with any feedback, I left the world of employment (as opposed to self employment) so long ago, I'm a bit dinosaurish.  And teaching is very special :)

    Still unsure...
Am very emotionally attached to my workplace and feel invested in its future. Esp the pupils who are doing exam classes and those who will opt to continue with my subject next year...
But if the ones with the power won't listen and insist on following their current course of action, then who knows...

On another note, dd's school are taking part in a Feb fitness challenge for km covered with exercise. All family members can take part, and send in weekly proof of distance. I'm in!! So it looks like Feb may well have a running element to it...
Have signed up for four free webinars re pension/retiring. I don't feel the need to join a live meeting and these are good as they are happening during half term. In fact, they are being run every month for the year I think. But Feb half term seems a good time to attend, and then I'll be better informed earlier.

So Jan ended and Feb came right along!
Jan had 22 meds and 34 exercise sessions.
I am in the habit of getting a lot of veg (+ therefore, fibre) down me at lunchtime. I'm drinking plenty of water.
Teaching online was exhausting at first, but I'm getting better at it.

Today I used my ' guinea pig ' group to try out breakout rooms. Unfortunately they'd not done them before so couldn't advise me, but they went along with me and gave it a good go. I used the trick again in the afternoon, and discovered how to pop into the groups. Progress!! It also means that the kids can once more do pair work and practice speaking French.

I'm signed up to theNST Feb challenge, as well as joining in with the fit Feb challenge at dd's school.
I'll continue with 5-4-3-2-1: veg at lunch, bottles of water, veg at tea, choc bars, exercise.
Feb has online teaching, half term, exercise, gardening... I have no fixed plans!

I like the 5-4-3-2-1 routine.  I might have to pinch that idea but maybe swap the choc from 2 to 5 😁

I don't think choc has made it below 3 yet!!!
Today has been a good day. Here's my ta-da list:
    A workout completed
2 loads of washing done and drying
Fruit stewed and gf oats added to make a bumper fibrous yummy mix
Soup made with leeks, broc, carrots, garlic, stock
    4 lunchtime veg mixes made
And that was all before 8am!
Then counselling, marking, jigsaw, an hour's walk with a friend, another mile with dd.
However, my gut is very unhappy and has become increasingly so as the day has progressed. Seems to be something I ate, yet I haven't eaten anything different. Hmmm. A mystery... Anyhow, I'm not having any tea tonight- I want to be able to sleep tonight!

Thank you! It was quite a disturbed night but I didn't have to keep using the bathroom, which was a win!
I have done some yoga and started waking the household up. At least I have an easy day of classes ahead.

It has been a delicate couple of days... but I'm on the mend now, just feeling feeble!
Need to visit liddle tomorrow at 8am, as I have £2 credit to use and dd needs mango and popcorn! Not much else is needed but I'll see if there are any bargains to be grabbed. Two weeks ago on a Saturday, it was quiet and I got loads; last week I went on a Fri and it was pretty busy and I only found boxes of 6 eggs down to 20p; we'll see what tomorrow brings...
