Hope you've had a restful couple of days, Apple, and had time to recuperate. Thinking of you xx

I am still all worn out. We went to church and I managed a whole conversation without crying! Only one, mind.

We visited friends this afternoon who are helping me sort out the financials/will/probate stuff. It all seems more manageable now. I think dsis will focus on appointments and health whilst I do the numbers and paperwork.

    Tomorrow:
    -call council tax people
    -colours wash
-write an application letter to aldee for dh
    -take bags to Sally Army?
-food shop (minimal milk, NO veg , a smidge of butter...)
    -library?

Dh has cashed in some shares and has paid another 3k off the mortgage taking us to £29,903 :T.

One of the items we have acquired is a brand new set of body fat bathroom scales. I do not like them as they tell me that I weight more then dh . Oh, the shame!

The heatwave is due today so I currently have the downstairs windows and doors open - tis rather chilly at the mo! Dh will doubtless mock me soon...

I wrenched my right shoulder/upper arm yesterday (whilst stretching, for heaven's sake!!!) and it is extremely painful. It is an old injury that I have known for several months needs physio but I have been putting it off, as we have less money. However, now it has moved up the priority list, so we shall have to find the pennies.

Anyhow, it was very hard to get comfortable with the pain last night, and I woke at 5.50 and got up soon after, stretched a little (it is surprising how many stretches cannot be done properly with a manky joint!) and went for a run/jog/walk. So I am wearing my smug face.

Dd has a friend coming over for most of the day, and I have to wait in for a redelivery for dh. So, I plan to tidy up the front garden and maybe do some crafting. Dh has a meeting to go to - all his job-hunting/employment stuff has been put on hold for the last 3 weeks, and he hasn't mentioned it once - he is a real good'un :D.

Ah - definitely time to get the physio session booked apple (I think health niggles were in your NST targets?;)) - the money is secondary in a situation like this x (I think we all have a tendancy to put ourselves at the bottom of this list at times - if it were DD or DH with a similar injury what would you do..? xx) (it's meant to be gently encouraging nagging from me here, but I'm not very good at that - but I'm sure you know what I mean!)

Good on DH for selling some shares - that's a lovely lump off your mortgage! :T

I'm also heavier than my DH :o- shhhhh :) x

Yep, health niggles were in the list - prompted by my shoulder in its state at the time! And I'm pleased to say that I have already emailed the physio place that I used before - they are excellent.

And I am determined not to weigh more than dh - he used to be 1 stone heavier than me. It's me who has increased and he has managed to decrease too. D'oh!

I have been for physio today. Go me. Twas much needed! It has eased it a little, I have 3 gentle movements to persist in doing, and am currently sitting with a bag of peas on it - most welcome in the 26 degree heat we still have this evening... I am going back in 12 days' time.

My arthritic-ness has been playing me up, and my hands and wrists are particularly bad today, with the thumbs leading the way.

    Tomorrow:
-get up at a silly time and go for a run, and stretch a lot
-post Very Important Documents + Rather Important Letters to big sis.
-take dd to library for book trail/big read thingy
-make a list of documents that need doing/updating once am back at work and see if I have been clever enough to do any of them already...

I have been out for a jog, and have also posted the documents + letters. Dd doesn't seem to want to go out - Harry Potter + utube = enough for now.

    Am having a maudlin day.

Must list those docs to do, to get that job done and out of my head.

Dd is on her first ever sleepover - go her! Hopefully she will last until tomorrow lunchtime...

Dh is off to an airshow tomorrow, with dss, a bday present from his kids.

I have paid 96+59 off the mortgage. Tomorrow I shall go for a morning jog.

Morning jog is done. Included a nice fall with a pretty spectacular skid. Just as well I wasn't going fast, eh? Then I might have skidded further! Anyhow, current woes are: right knee took the brunt - no scrape but whopping big bruise, left forearm/elbow and outside corner of palm took the other brunt and gained big grazes. Right forearm joined in with a long thin graze, and my tummy also wanted part of the action so has a graze that goes over my belly button! I reckon my dodgy shoulder took a bit of a pounding too, so shall ice that throughout the day - the infraspinatus, I'll have you know...

Forgot to mention yesterday that we went shoe shopping for dd. She is a delight! One pair of m&s school shoes (given up with clarkes as 1/3 more and do not last) plus one pair of go-faster trainers for for, and some m&skids walking sandals for me. All for £48 (had a £6 voucher). Result. Paid for in cash.

Time to shake a tail feather and keep moving as much as the trip will allow. Sweep floors, strip bed, whites wash, reading, coffee, call mum.
