So my husband took my three-year-old son on a bus on Saturday. The driver slammed the brakes on in order to chat to the driver of a bus coming the opposite way. Write to your local paper. It's the sort of local interest story they like.

"3 year old injured on local bus" gets attention, and you're more likely to get a decent apology from the bus company.
