  • Since the claims progress by exactly 60 days throughout the term, if you begin by missing an earlier claim bill because it is dated 1 day short then the next one is likely to catch up eg. if your claim 1 period commences on 20th March but your bill is dated 19th you'd have to send your April bill, but when you get to the claim 2 window in May the May bill will be dated at 180 days because there are 31 days in March and 30 (par) in April, if that makes sense! Therefore you'd actually be sending claim one in April and claim 2 in May. Of course, E2Save and Onestopphone shop stole the same t&c three months ago but aren't then following them (as many will soon find out when they come to claim), but at least Mobileaffiliates do use them!

  • Mobilejunkie, here is another one seeking your help!! I would be really grateful if you could advise me on this.

My connection date is 20 March 2007 and my bill date was 17 th of every month till Aug 07. As per the previous msgs on this post, I have sent in my 120 days claim in Aug 2007(bill dated 17 Aug 07). Now as per your advice in the previous post, I was expecting to post my sep 17 th bill for my 180 days claim.

But, this month the bill was generated on 14th of Sep itself. My 180 days from date of connection is only on 16 th Sep 2007. Since my bill is dated on 14 Sep, should I wait for my Oct bill to claim my 180 days cashback??

Pls could you kindly confirm my understanding??

  • Hi guys

I think my missus is in the same boat as Yatin. AFAIK her connection date was 23rd May and her bills are usually dated around the 23rd.

Septembers bill which I was expecting to send in is dated 19th Sept so I calculate that as 119 days.

Thus I should send in the October bill although I am worried that it will get refused and she will lose her cashback (and I will be in trouble).

    Any advice?

ps - Should I get her to ring PBD and ask them?
  • Hi WJUK,
From my experience, even if we ring PBD also, the customer care agents are well trained to say ‘send in bill after 120 days connection’. I couldn’t get any other information from them even after making a number of calls. I still haven’t heard anything from them. My OH also had the same problem as he got his phone on Apr 20th and his bills are dated 17th of every month. So, we have sent in Sep bill and are planning to send in Oct bill as well. If you are not confident, may be you could send in both September and October month bills and you will loose only 10GBP for sending in a month earlier. The choice is yours.

  • Next time if you have one contract on Vodafone time the second to "fit" the dates; that's what I did.
  • Mobilejunkie, I have sent you a PM...hope you don't mind!
Yet another query re Cashback from PBD.
I will post it for general veiwing, once I have it straight in my own mind!
