Free Hot drink and cake every month @ John Lewis

received my latest free drinks voucher but show valid january 2016

not sure what the reasoning is for deferring the validity

Hubby & I both received three vouchers each:-

"Every £1 you spend gives you an entry into our monthly prize draw, when you use your my John Lewis card in store or sign in online."

"Receive a £5 gift voucher in the post when you spend £50 in store or online."

"Enjoy a regular size hot drink and cake valid 07 - 31 January 2016."

That's what I got too apart from the coffee/cake voucher runs from October to December (not January). Reading back on others comments though I might just stop shopping at John Lewis so I can get better coupons- there are some really decent vouchers for people who don't shop with them! I can do without the coffee/cake but the other things that are mentioned could be really useful in the run up to Christmas!

I would have thought it's because this is now prime shopping months with Christmas coming up so they want as much money in the tills as possible so they're probably hoping the people who haven't got a free coffee voucher till after Christmas but have a £5 off £50 spend one will use that and then think ooo while I'm here I'll go buy a coffee and cake knowing how nice they are

I got a voucher when I signed up around end of March, but forgot to use it, then another around May but forgot to use it and no more, I keep forgetting as I only go into city centre now and again and times I do I forget the voucher which is a shame as its right at bus station.

I finally received a voucher for one hot drink and a cake, £5 off £50 spend and competition entry after months of no vouchers. Better than nothing of course, but I do love freebies! :rotfl:

Same here. Wife got hers. Been like that for near enough 7 months now with exactly the same (none) shopping pattern. I made the mistake of buying something last December!
