thank you - that is your good deed for the day done :T
I tried to do a search but it froze on me“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
I went to John Lewis (Bluewater) and ordered a luxury hot chocolate.
I then proceeded to the till where they informed me it was not part of the voucher scheme - and only the regular hot chocolate is. It was all rather awkward and they eventually agreed to let me have it that time as it was already made.
However I've had a luxury hot chocolate for every voucher i've had since the start of the scheme and nobody said anything before. The voucher states any hot drink at regular size, and the T&Cs on the back make no reference to this.
Anyone else know whether it is included or not?0 -

I was told way back that it's not included - and the reason is, I think, that it's not just a drink. It's a drink + extras (marshmallow?).0 -
My daughters get the hot chocolate, sometimes they've been given the luxury one as a freebie other times they've been told they can pay the difference, think its 60 odd pence, when ordering they always show the voucher and ask which they can have

I asked for a hot chocolate on Saturday and was told I could only have a regular one. I had to pay 30p extra if I wanted the luxury version.0

Ahhh, inconsistency, don't you love it. Always had a regular luxury choc, never had an issue or query.0

Is everyone being asked to show their card when redeeming their free hot drink and cake voucher?0
