Haven't been at home for the last two days and am a bit annoyed that my tidy downstairs has become very untidy due to OH!
Haven't had a chance to catch up on the thread but will be cracking on with restoring my kitchen first and then the lists!!0 -
Faceless Number grrrr to OH - my DH does that too and can turn the house upside down in no time at all :mad:!
SpendlessKaren lovely to have you join in too
Just the two of us it doesn't take long to get the house looking better does it; that's the beauty of this whole thread as you do little things each week and they all add up and make a big difference
Dusty give Royal Paws a stroke from me; glad she's eaten again. Hope your boys enjoy the Arsenal match tomorrow!
Pigpen any sign of the wool?
Dropped DS off at school no problem; the teacher suffers from asthma herself and said she'll keep him in from playtime cos the cold damp air makes him cough; another boy is the same & the 2 of them sit happily in a corner on the sofa looking at books! Here's my list and it's not too bad considering all the disruption I've had this week:

Morning all,
A bit of a late start here, quite tired after going to see my nephew in his show last night.
It was really good, we thoroughly enjoyed it and I definitely had the proud Auntie moment
It did make me feel a little sad that my sister wouldn't have seen it. My nephew and my sister no longer speak, my sister's now ex boyfriend physically threatened my nephew and my sister stood by and did / said nothing so my nephew has washed his hands of her and I don't blame him.
I still have quite a bit on my lists to do and I have to go to the sorting office to pick up a packet that needs signing for.
I was hoping to get the jumper finished today but I can't keep neglecting the housework for itYesterday my mum unpicked one of the sleeves
it seems I got a bit carried away with the increasing, didn't count my stitches and lets say it ended up a little big

I am about to sign off until Monday, by which time mum's move will be 50% over (the 50% I'm dealing with....)
However today I was delighted to be credited on my daughter's blog as 'the reason she got into reading'!:j:j:j:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

i would be very proud of that comment, to give someone a love of reading and books is indeed a wonderful gift to give them.:T

CY I hope the move goes smoothly and your mother is not too discombobulated by it all. Huge congratulations on your daughter's blog comment.
Dusty, in the middle of the night a vet's wife comment from 38 years ago came to me. She said that if a cat can resist cooked rabbit, it's on its last legs. When my Darling D was going through what RP is experiencing that's what I fed her. Some supermarkets still sell it cubed in the freezers, and if yours don't, proper old fashioned butchers often have a rabbit or three tucked away somewhere. I just poached it and shredded it and gave her a tiny amount at a time.
