    Is it not the total number of location wins that the eventual champion has taken, as GW78 says.

    If it was just French race winers, then 2010 would be more (9, as Loeb won 8 and Ogier 1).

    43 Complete this WRC sequence: 1, 3, 6, 10, 8, 8, 11, 7, 8, 5, 9 and…

    answer = 2

    (Sebastien Loeb's wins in WRC, it's coincidence that he's french and champion for most of these years, first figure "1" gives it away - in 2002 Marcus Gronholm was champion with 5 wins)

    Nice and simple! I think that completes the list?

    I agree with One-Eye they are after the last French woman , it is what I thought in the first place but only asked the question to make sure everyone thought the same,I think it would have been to easy anyway because i knew of the top of my head that Serena Williams was the last player to win without dropping a set before Bartolli.
    Mauresmo is the last french woman to win it before Bartolli but didnt win without dropping a set , she actually dropped one in the final.

    I still don't think the answer is Suzanne Lenglen - Women in the Open era (which began in 1968) who have won Wimbledon without dropping a set: Martina Navratilova (four times), Serena Williams (twice) and Chris Evert, Lindsay Davenport, Venus Williams and 2013 champion Marion Bartoli (once each). http://tennis.si.com/2013/07/08/wimbledon-numbers-andy-murray-marion-bartoli/

    The question reads
    At Wimbledon 2013 Marion Bartoli became the first French woman to win a Grand Slam singles title without dropping a set since whom?

    It depends on how you interpretate the question , like I said when I gave the answer , if they are after the last french woman to win it without dropping a set then the answer is definetly Suzanne Lenglen.
    If they want the last woman of any nationality to win without dropping a set then that was Serena Williams in 2010.

    My view is that they want the last french woman - Suzanne Lenglen, but it really is up to you which way you go. The way they have included French woman into the question suggests to me they want the last French woman.

    i think answer to question 30 is The Derby
    30. Peter Teazle, Thomas, Harry, Bevys, Hugo, Visto, Ivor and Percy: what’s the connection?
    thier derby winners i think

    Yes, I think the answer in the first post is misleading. I put down "Horses whose names start Sir & won the Epsom Derby" for that one.

    I don't think horses can be knighted. ;)
