I agree with One-Eye they are after the last French woman , it is what I thought in the first place but only asked the question to make sure everyone thought the same,I think it would have been to easy anyway because i knew of the top of my head that Serena Williams was the last player to win without dropping a set before Bartolli.
Mauresmo is the last french woman to win it before Bartolli but didnt win without dropping a set , she actually dropped one in the final.
