    43 Complete this WRC sequence: 1, 3, 6, 10, 8, 8, 11, 7, 8, 5, 9 and

I think this is the number of race wins the champion has had through the season.
http://www.wrc.com/statistics/ shows that Sebastien Loeb has won 2004-2012.
http://www.wrc.com/drivers-and-teams/drivers/sebastien-loeb/?whoid=11 The career highlights on this page:
2012: World Rally Champion with nine wins
2011: World Rally Champion with five wins
2010: World Rally Champion with eight wins
2009: World Rally Champion with seven wins
2008: World Rally Champion with 11 wins
2007: World Rally Champion with eight wins
2006: World Rally Champion with eight wins. Misses final four rounds of the season after injuring himself falling from a mountain bike. Finishes second in Le Mans 24 Hours
2005: World Rally Champion with 10 wins. Makes Le Mans 24 Hours debut
2004: World Rally Champion with six wins
2003: Second in World Rally Championship with three wins
2002: Claims first victory on a World Rally Championship event

    http://www.wrc.com/calendar-and-rallies/
2013 doesn't finish until Sunday but it looks like Sebastien Ogier might win (I don't know how it works though) his page is http://www.wrc.com/drivers-and-teams/drivers/sebastien-ogier/?whoid=12
He's already won 8 so if he wins this and the whole thing the number will be 9.
If I forget can someone check please, all the info needed to find the answer should be above! :)
Thanks to the members that post competitions, especially the regulars :A

The answer to Q. 2 lies somewhere in this text, I'm sure:

I can't quite get my head around it at the moment as it's late, but it's something to do with the No. 10 shirt?

Zidane, Puskas, Kempes and Pele all scored in a World Cup Final wearing the number 10 squad number, the only other player to do so is Geoff Hurst - although I'm not quite sure about shirt numbers of players prior to 1954 before squad numbers were introduced. Suspect this is the answer though ....

    34. I was going to say that they all retired as undefeated World Champions - according to their respective wiki pages, except for Lennox 'The Lion' Lewis, although his defeats might have been pre world champion status? Not 100%

    Brockton Blockbuster
    The Terminator
    The Liquidator
    The Italian Dragon
    El Finito
    Lion
    Can't find The Phantom

edit* perhaps it's just that they all successfully defended their world titles? gah it's late!
