Incorrect, mine was post #952, which would mean it was the 951st reply, so 49 to go, as I said :)

Aldi has a geographically biased ban on CREDIT CARDS except for in Scotland , parts of South Wales, and Berwick Upon Tweed.in England.
They have an out of date only list of credit cards in store..
They have an out of date only list of credit cards in their website
They have an out of date ban on Credit Cards which incorrectly doesnt mention they accept them in Scotland , parts of South Wales, and Berwick Upon Tweed.in England on their website...

Aldi are promising Gift Vouchers which Earthstrump says they dont isssue.
Aldis new customer service implementation is not working
Aldi have a premium rate telephne number for customer service.
Aldi have car parking issues , see other thread

If i have missed out anything please let me know ?

Lots of companies have a premium rate number for customer service, the site say no to 0870 will generally offer an alternative.

I think aldi is a great store, if you dont like it, shop somewhere else.

It is run by ALDI PR/Marketing Dept. , so yes they will pass anything not relating to PR/Marketing to CS, just like any company. If you contacted Tesco PR/Marketing they would tell you to contact Tesco CS.

Any companies social media sites are run by their PR/Marketing departments, they are not run by CS

Yes they do and for me a Virgin media customer its costs me 10.22 p per minute to call their 0844 and 0845 number. If i could call a geographic number it would be free for the first 60 minutes on my VM plan.

Aldi have thanked me for my support and interest and hope i remain a valued customer they (customer service manager) have told me this in writing.

Sadly the SAYNOTO0870 alternative to Aldi doesn't work anymore.

yes they are the ones who design and create the instore leaflets/booklets, that when you look on the shelves they never have what's in the leaflets, but they are the ones who look after the facebook page.

Thank you for pointing this out to us.

I also have never been lucky enough to get a bargain from these books.

If they stopped printing these books they could lower costs to their customers.

Furthermore they could introduce the use of credit cards in all their stores in the uk instead of the crazy geographical biassed ban they have on the use of credit cards apart from in Scotland , parts of South Wales controlled by Swindon Wiltshire England, and Berwick Upon Tweed.in England
