my Nexus4 got the update last week.
have you tried the Framework trick?
go to Settings then Apps then All
scroll down till you find "Google Services Framework"
select it and press "Clear Cache" then "Force Stop" then "Clear Data"
go back to the home screen then select Settings then "about Phone" then "System Update" it should read 01/01/1970 click check now and accept any pop ups that come up. you might have to do it a couple of times for an update to show up if it's available for your device...Laters

No, haven't done this. Not recommended according to a google engineer on the google product forums, apparently it can cause problems.
I shall just wait. Seems very little difference anyway0 -
Just as an aside. How can I delete the e-mails from the "trash" folder on hotmail on the Nexus 7? I have deleted them from my hotmail from my laptop account but it still shows as 999+ messages in "trash" when I login on the Nexus!Always get a Qualified opinion - My qualifications are that I am OLD and GRUMPY:p:p0

It's really not worth getting excited about. My Nexus 7 (and Nexus 4 phone) both updated yesterday but you'd be hard pushed so spot any significant differences. It isn't worth the hassle and risk of loading it manually.0 -

My Nexus 4, last night. My Nexus 10, last week.
You get the announcement that it has started rolling out, then impatiently wait...
Many of the improvements are only on the Nexus 5 and future devices anyway.0
