Fog Lights

Is that when they are indicating, by any chance?
Some VWs do that - you put on the indicator and the fog light on that side comes on, or if you turn it will also come on. It only occurs at slower speeds.
Seems to be a feature of a lot of new cars, not just VAG, not really sure why though, this function doesn't really seem to serve any useful purpose.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0 -

Not for the viewer but it does for the driver, I have them on my Golf, but it's not the fog light that comes on, but another dipped beam.0 -

Ones I see are just random cars of any age, shape or size coming towards me. Not the latest hipster car or just on corners or anything like that.0 -
I have a much bigger issue with the amount of dimwits who fit aftermarket Daytime Running Lights, but wire them in so they also run at night
Some factory fitted DRL's do still run at night, but the output is greatly reduced so as to not blind other road users, this key difference seems to escape the clueless Chavs round my way.
Hopefully my Bi-Xenons constantly burning holes in their retinas will eventually get the message across0 -

Since when did two wrongs make a right?
Only 3 left turns make a right!0 -

Day Running Lights. You'd have thought that the clue was in the name.
All it takes to switch them off when the main lights are on is a single-pole double-throw (SPDT) relay. If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5?

Wiring in a relay, is probably beyond the ability of "clueless Chavs".0

but they don't drive round with their brakes on. Although I've never noticed brake lights to be as bright as rear fogs0 -

Both are 21W bulbs, although rear fog lights are allowed to have reflectors behind the bulbs. If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5?
