Fog Lights

It's "kewl". My theory is that they're trying to pretend that their car is new enough to have day running lights. If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5?

I don't mind front fog lights, but when I'm behind somebody with their rear fog light on... I want to pull them out of their car and beat them with their own limbs.0

Likewise, when you are stuck in a stationary queue on the motorway at night, and instead of putting their handbrake on, the pillock in the car in front keeps his/her foot on the foot brake.
It's even more painful to the eyes, since cars have been fitted with high level brake lights.0 -
Why do people drive around with their fog lights even thought there is no fog around?
Some drivers just don't know what that cute little light on their dashboard means. Others think it matches their go faster stripes. And a few are just too bone idle to switch them off."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
It makes their car look cool.
Well, when I say that, what I mean is it stops you seeing they're driving a 10 year old Vectra/Picasso/Saxo.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?0 -

brake lights never really bother me but the fog light just draws your attention. I can never understand how somebody can drive through town traffic and think "I can clearly see 200 yards in front of me, including the car 6 feet in front of my.. BUT !!! the driver of the car behind me must be struggling to see me so I'll put my fog light on'"
they no doubt sit complaining that I'm right up their a*rse, but that's just to block out the light0 -

It's not just Ford. Most manufacturers do that these days, in fact I don't know of any modern cars which are not set up like that.1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?0
