Pippi I forgot to say - this week's episode of the 'Hairy Bikers' was from Japan. The first bit of the prog is taken up with them visiting a huge fish market and eating and making sushi - well worth a watch, but you may decide to switch off when they go to the sumo stable....#notaprettysight They were in Tokyo for that episode, they are visiting elsewhere in Japan next week - not too sure if more sushi will feature.....

Good job i read the rest of it, but i could so make mountains out of this one:cool::D:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Bob I'd expect no less
how's life in the fast lane?
Greying thank you for the wee heads up re the hairy ones - I'll see if I can watch on a repeat thingmy
Y'all of lovlieness (^^^up there) thanksfor all the lovely wishes I've yet to have a confirmation email for the actual nuts and bolts of the interview. And, I'll offer a web/phone interview if they'd not want to spend their dosh. And, no choice but to fly given the short notice unless they decide soon, that won't be an option either. Don't get me wrong its a cracking job - but we all need to be a bit realistic, eh? Ironically its a fifteen minute plod from RG's abode.....
I'm nice like that and thanks to you lovely lot I know that's not unreasonable.
So the coffers are empty again as the DD's now on the car insurance - but way cheaper than the driving lessons that I am no longer paying for. (Her dad's keeping those up for her, I'm allowing myself to be terrified in my own car - her test is in May so lets see)
TRG is awa' sooth for some meeting or other and so its just us gals and the hoonds this week.
I'm trying to get me head around a meal plan. And we all know how much I love that.
There's beetroot to eat and blue cheese I may just make a salad. And no one can complain cos I'm eating for one
The DD has surpassed herself by using up yesterdays nice some leftover tartiflette and a sausage - looked rather fab I have to say.
DS is winding down to the holidays from uni - off to his papa's for lambing for a month next week.
Hmm, aside a few scampy walks, a great curry with all the trimmings last night (using up HM sauce from le freezer) - a pretty relaxed weekend.
Todays spends
reduced bananas 50p
Dog fud £1
Yesterday I spent nada.
Not too bad. Must update spends and of course see what you wee monkeys have all been upto. Saving money here there and everywhere I bet.
ETA a GREAT job come up in a FAB garden. Linkie here - I'm pondering it - an utterly dream job but a daily commute in and out of the big smoke - not sure if I'm that dedicated to be honest. I did it for a year but I can't imagine doing it for YEARS - and living in the city isn't an option for either of us. Although she was my supervisor..........:D will a ponder some more.
Not that commuting is bad, its just not what I think I'd really want to do forever espesh in and out of the big Rock. And, I admire those who do.
