Whilst I know the Stripey household likes a wee adventure, I reckon this book would be winging it's way, on travels of its own, most likely to 'rock city'......
Serioulsy JM has produced a stunner - best cook book I've seen in a long while. Something for everyone.
WHOOP de WHOOP to debt-bashing too :j:j
Greying
Runs off to find a marker pen as I may be a first time home onwer (by proxy anyway) later this year and the younglings will also need a copy as they're bad at sharing my stuff - well actually THEY are rather good at it - so maybe I'll not pretend I'll just need the one copy which will be 'borrowed'.
Merci for the whoopageMuch appreciated! The curious thing about focussing on debts is that I do wonder where on earth these 'wages' have been hiding when I'm not looking and where they run away too.
Mind you then I looked at DD's column on my spreadsheet :rotfl::rotfl: I've got her number now!
Have a great time tonight a lobbing pancakes I'm about to do the same.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Thanks guys!
I'm so full, I can't actually move.
Really, in real life, I may never be able to move again.
Whilst I fear loathe and despise cake. I love those noble pan beasts and had them with sweetcorn lobbed in too.
We are heathens we all sat down to a table of 'bits' and pancakes for tea.
My mother use to do this with the four of us and a jar of jam and a tin of serilised cream.
Whilst (I found out later) she did this as there was no money left in her purse for food, we thought it was the best adventure ever.
So we've feasted and dunked and dipped and spread and eaten.
Nom, nom nom.
Thank you for the good wishes for the cards with you lovely lot and a RG who assures me it WILL be ok, I'm feeling like I've a parachute and a pair of braces too(and a net)
Beanie well done on ordering from the lib.
M21 thanks for the link much appreciate it.
KC those pesky kids - I'm sure that's a line from scooby doo.
Thanks chaps I'm awa' to beach myself. Mr RG has just put some photos up on the book, and with the layers, not a bonnie look but it was COLD on Saturday.
Puts the spare pancake mix in the fridge. And, the spare pancakes on the table with a big sign saying EAT ME.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Pippi - I have just nicked that super idea, and done the same thing over in my 'kitchen'Ta for the inspiration

Pippi i am laughing and laughing at your hair-bobble-in-the-gear-stick fiasco :rotfl: :rotfl: sorry, but that's just TOO funny
:j :j for card payments, tis inspirational! :j :j
I was looking at Hive the other day - would you believe that in this city of 250,000 people there is NO independent bookshop?? what an outrage!
I'll tell you what's also an outrage - i forgot it was pancake day!!  :rotfl: Did have some on Saturday though so all not lost
(oh and my mum used to do similar with 'special dinner' of jammy toast in front of the gas firewe loved it, never realising it was because we didn't have anything else
Mr Cheery's mum did the same with egg and chips (a bit too much like cooking for my mum :rotfl: ). they loved it too)

Cheery the funny thing was all the ladies of the garage office etc - going out and taking their hair bobbles off their gear sticks.
The money busting is largely scary but necessary and it does focus the mind on what's in the cupboards somewhat.
I love that you had toast and jam and mr cheery had egg and chips - which whilst a bit more faff is a yummy tea.
NO independant book shops in your neck of the woods - wowser.
GP glad to be of help. And, I'm sure your plateful went like hotcakes just like they did here..........:D
So todays a long work day and teaching tonight. Think of the pennies.
Sold a botanical book to a chum and netted £15 so that's gone straight from my bank to the cards
Tea is made (cottage pie) and ready for the chaps to heat up later.
Sadly didn't accept offer on darwin as whilst the folks were trying to do us a huge favour he's got so many new bits that it would have only just covered the price of the new exhaust in box and a bit extra so its now plan B whatever that is. I'd loved to have said yes but I'd be giving away close to 500 for less hassle admittedly but Mr RG and I talked it through and its not that we don't thank them, its just not enough for all his gubbins.
Ponders some more.
DD has yet to furnish me with her driving details so I can't yet sort out her insurance.........
Today needs a plan which I will have to wriggle into.
Made contact with a chap taking some furniture and stuff from here (mainly old ikea garage shelves) and some of the larger pots - he's popping over on Sunday - must declutter some of those eh?
RG is talking to his work about a storage container as they have those kind of things kicking about in a very secure environment - you see he's very handy like that too.
Ex OH has finally sold farm - completes soon and then they'll be winging off to Chev's part of the world. DD may go out for a wee adventure with them before Uni but we'll see what that involves.
I am NOT applying for a certain garden job, I have decided for a few reasons, one of which is that a close chum is applying too and its her dream garden and is far more suitable.......
Right best go seize the day and all that as GP would say.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
