Fish was the main courses at w'ur place. Tell me of this other place you speak of (the one that doesn't make you boak)
Ah, that's what got me - I'm going to have my sacroiliac joint crunched back into place tomorrow, so I'll be quicker off the mark next time
The other one is the Upper Deck, the restaurant over the Ferry Inn. Menu here if you want to have a quick dribble: http://www.upperdeckscrabster.co.uk/menu.asp0 -
Dribbles and wipes chops with a very lovely napkin, I do like a good rump
(minds OUT of the gutter, please!)
And Highland reared always gets a vote.
And you barely see it on a menu. Thanks always seen it, stayed in it 10 years ago before the extension would never have thought of eating there........will try it - thank you!
I had a wee (soft) drink there on Friday night as RG was a peedie bit tardy!

Hey up Karma
the money's just cleared so maybe it helped?
Lobs a pancake.
I need a lie down - just put £705.58 to cc's.
Lets just say the coffers are a bit empty now that they've cleared but whilst I was asleep I did have some wages.
Money paid was expense money
Cancelled dd's
Wine money
and the balance of 5.58 just to tidy me accountTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Richt = I need a boot up the derrier.
Need a list
Done banks
Paid CC's
Hung up bedding
Had pancakesmore later
Had a bath
Walked mutts here
Phoned about car which has a comedy fix, but as it didn't involve a new clutch I'm a bit embarrassed but happy.£10.50 :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
To do
[STRIKE]Tidy up room upstairs and get rid some bags[/STRIKE] and texted DS to see if he needs his Sixth year folders......:D
[STRIKE]Make a shepherds pie for tomorrow[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Take out fish for tonight[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Soup for lunch
Tidy up more books (yes more books)
Another load of washing[/STRIKE]
Box up summer clothes for Mr RG's house
Finish a job application after I talk to a mentor about it - great job hourly rate is not good (ie almost half of what I'm on now) so have to talk to mainland garden guru and see if its a step in a good direction to consider too.
[STRIKE]Tidy up[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Fill up log baskets[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Bathrooms to sort[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Floors to sweep[/STRIKE]/mow - its raining so no indoor mowing for me and that's my excuse:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
[STRIKE]Car to collect[/STRIKE]
DD insurance on said car to sort (EEK)
Well that's a start huh?
Also need to think about how much I need for monthly spends outwith grub/dd's and petrol (I don't have a scooby) but cheery's post made me think about it.
I have a sum of money left in bank which is to cover dd's petrol and grub and obviously treats.
Any thoughts most welcomed........
Do I restart a 'me' budget? Then I might be able to see what else I can put to the cards but right now I've left an overly generous (by my standards) amount in the current account to see how I get on whilst actually a bit of that might be able to go to the card?
Ponders whilst cracking on with something, its nearly twelve and thus far a pancake and a bath is all I've actually acheived.

Greying
Thank you for the idea! I'd forgotten it was out just reading your diary reminded me I wanted to get a copy.
Today I'm mostly procrastinating.......so I'd best do a 15 minute stint - now where's the piggy timer. (That always worked with the kids)

15 minutes on the timer is great, isn't it
Paying more off the cc right now .... hmmm, because your outgoings are a bit up and down, and your circumstances are full of about-to-happen changes, Pippi, I think you've done the right thing in holding back a bit of dosh so far. When's the "must be paid by" date? Sounds like its a while yet ...
And as for procrastinating, sometimes I do it because I feel like itbut sometimes I do it because I've done too much and I need a break
