Hey KC - that's very true re ups and downs of spends :) I've made enough payments to cards to cover min (and some) and all are now OK for another month.

On the 'must be paid by date' I'd like them clear before I leave if that's at all possible so 31st May.

(Although I'll have a wage early June from May iyswim) so as long as I can hope to clear most of it with the last womble wage that would be something!

The 'hairbobble in the mech of the gear stick' (not the clutch) which was stopping my reversing (laugh away, I know they are!) has cost me £10.50 I am so glad its not a clutch.......:D silly me.

The 'procrastination' is often my not getting going or just thinking bah. Too much you're right. I may just put the fire on and tootle this afternoon and not give myself so much grief.

    :D

    Bathrooms cleaned
    Car picked up
    Dogs walked
Lunch about to be a warmed.
    One bag declutttered from upstairs
    One bag cleared from kitchen.

    :)

Must email garden guru extraodinaire chap soon.

I hope the gardens being kind.

Lobs a pancake and a flap jack - take your pick :D

I've just decluttered another bag and a box (lego will donate to a chum's wee boys) and sorted my clothes.

I decluttered 40 items to the clotheswap and came back with one tshirt :)

    So thus far I've

    One ikea bag of each

    Posh work clothes
    Scruffy day normal clothes
    Summer clothes
    Really posh stuff and suits
    PJ/undies.
A bag of welly's/with three pairs of shoes lobbed in for good measure.

    Man that's alot of clothes.

    Also doing some 'life thinking'.

TBH that last bit is hurting me head.

    :D

So, in most exciting news the payments I made today to the CC's have been put through and the balances are thus.......

    -3834.38 TOTAL DEBTS
    -3284.38 ONLY CC'S

I'm most chuffed as the figures are heading in the right direction aren't they?

The payments so soon surprised me too, but as Mr RG reminded me I waiting from 16th dec - 15th Feb for my wages and because of the delay, I've just got another payment too - so ta dah!

As if by magic a new balance appeared.

If I'm honest its just made me more determined to eat out the cupboards as much as possible again this month and try and get them down a bit more.

No pain, no gain. And after all my last proper wage may be in early June so I'd really had best get me finger oot.

And, taking my CC's OUT OF MY PURSE has been a great strategy as I've used my debit card only this month. So I'm trying that again in March.

Must get Mr RG to phone up about Darwin's offer too, I'm useless as I seem to 'negotiate' for the other team :D

Whoop to balances being under 4K

I certainly feel so motivated with you all about so thank you :) you're all ace cheerleaders.

If you do buy the book......

Put your NAME on it IMMEDIATELY in BIG CAPITAL LETTERS - I perused it today, and thought what an excellent book this would be for young people/students/first homeowner(s).

Whilst I know the Stripey household likes a wee adventure, I reckon this book would be winging it's way, on travels of its own, most likely to 'rock city'...... ;)

Serioulsy JM has produced a stunner - best cook book I've seen in a long while. Something for everyone.

WHOOP de WHOOP to debt-bashing too :j:j
