I am really sorry if any bad dreams were had from any googling of piccys of liver fluke!!!
Is just one thing that the 'Head Gardener' was very very strict about...
the only watercress I have ever had was 'proper' stuff...
Hugs

Hey Beanie my favourite kind.
And Wik - that head gardener was very wise.
Tonihgt's PAD for the cards was £10 to each of them, whilst I'm paid I've not divii'd up the money to its final locations. So a PAD is fine, and needed but I can't go overboard until I've done my sums.

I've been looking at chicken coups and chooks.
Don't judge me! I know its too early but a gal can dream.
Mr RG home safe and sound. Does feel a bit odd mind.

Wik, I'm serious, I'm grateful you brought it in too - foraging is so much in the news, and we need to know about the dangers!
Aw, Pippi, its sad to see your RG go, of course it is ... I love it that you're counting down to the move in days now, its still a way away, but its getting closer2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Morning all - its still morning!
KC it is sad but that's how it works I guess, for now. He's back with his amps which pleases him (and his super cape) although its a long way to travel every wee while. In exciting news he's just had a pay rise - lucky fella but he does work hard!
Wik and Mara quite right to highlight such scary issues! Thank you both.
Today
Well
The washings hung up inside to dry
The leftovers were boxed up for a meal another time

Hope you all have a good one - I'm trying to get some tidying done so hoping to get more stuff ready for the charity shops later.save those pennies today!

:hello: Morning (Just!) all - and happy new diary Stripes! All subscribed now so there's no escaping me this time either! :rotfl:
All sounding cheery - glad to hear that - well apart from the Liver Flukes - while not the squeamish type I'm going to gloss over that I think..... _pale_ quite jealous of being paid for favours in large bags of meat too - quite excellent arrangement I would have said!
Glad MrRG has got back safely but sorry he's gone - if that makes any sense at all.
Looking forward to reading more! xx🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Ey up EH - the meat for report writing was quite nice although a tad difficult to add into the accounts.
Nice to see you too. I'm looking forward to the adventures ahead.
Dogs walked again after a rush the 'stand' is fairly quiet
Lunch of home made nibbles scoffed and fruit
One bank checked and other bank being tricksy. More DD's out.
And speaking of another kind of dd - the kind of money planning I find very difficult is yet another 'I need £x by Wednesday for school - I told you'
Now I'm not sure how other teenagers parents deal with this aside with watery eyes and open purses but its driving me crazy
This time for an extra £50 quid for ingredients for a cooking class at school - ANOTHER £50 it doesn't seem that long since the last one - now call me old fashioned when schools run courses surely the 'ingredients' can be accounted for in their costs. I do mind not getting all the information when folks sign up for things.
Mind you who did/didn't give me that info is currently in dispute.
Lets just say I've no idea how teenagers parents manage to plan any money transactions. It use to be a quid or two but these days I'm always asked for an awful lot more.
Juggling with a lack of information is not cricket.
And don't get me started on driving lessons, bus fares, after school activities and other stuff. It seems even with an EMA - (which is ONLY £30 you know) it barely covers anything at all in some peoples (teenage) purses!
My first YTS job was £27 a week. Mind you that was in 19oatcake - but I did buy my own buses
Enough of my ranting.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

You can grow your own watercress very easily, just buy one bunch first (reduced if possible of course!) and go from there. Have a look what Alys has to say on the subject here.
It's kind of dull here today. Quite mild, not windy, not wet, not frosty, not sunny either, just sort of grey. Have been busy straining my grape and berry wine and using up our stocks making carrot and coriander soup which will be followed by Spanish omelette as we have acquired rather a lot of eggs and potatoes. Also stock-taking what I have picked up over the past few months as potential Xmas presents for the girls - and looking for the things I have hidden and now can't find :rotfl:0 -
Trog, thats brilliant, thank you! Watercress has so many nutrients, its really worth taking space in the garden.
Pippi - thats a bleeping lot of money for cookery! I'm older than you, but I don't remember paying anything at all for ingredients ... oh:o:o I've just remembered why ... we had to bring them from home :rotfl: Loving the image of you buying your own bus :j
