Aw M21 - I have to say he's certainly UNIQUE.
and often quite kind and keeps me in wellingtons nicely. He's off safely and the mutts and I waved him off as he went.
Good morning lands, well I have to say despite getting up early doors to take the said RG to the ferry its absolutely gorgeous out there. I'm working later so that suits me as sawing things up in sunshine is much preferable to sawing them up in the squally showers.
A day of contemplation later as I look and see where the money's been leaking from our ships purse. I have the notion that the combo of erratic cash flow/expenses paid before wages etc means lots has gone on the CC and not directly paid off. I've also been subbing the young uni chap whilst his student loan was awol. But, that's OK, as long as I know WHY the cc's have crept up so, I can deal with it.
Aside the money thinking todays plans will include
Work - banking paid time off for xmas
Life laundry - bit of admin, bit of cleaning, bit of letter list writing
Make a card for a chums birthday tomorrow and organise something home made for her
Organise a work plan - its a long week ahead
Skype with the DS as its Sunday its 'Proof of Life' day
Pay something to the cc
Find/saw up some free wood if I can - I do love a good pallet.
Walk mutts
Make a delicious tea
Flop in heap after said activity and snore loudly in front of fire.
It SHOULD be a NSD I've nothing planned to spend on but will check the milk situation before I claim one
Hope you all have a good un' and the sun shines on you all today.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Proof of life :rotfl: I hope you get through! Getting sons to communicate sounds more and more difficult, the older they get - mind you, yours seems to ring *you* pretty often, which is a real accomplishment, Pippi :j
Spooked by the liver fluke thing - did a bit of research, and finally found a realistic overview of the fluke life cycle that explains the link to vegetation, and shows that we *are* in danger of picking it up http://hccmpw.org.uk/medialibrary/publications/HCC%20Liver%20Fluke%20Nov09.pdf - the other stuff I found was all about raw and undercooked fish, whereas this one (the Meat Commission in Wales, something like that) talks about snail poo settling on vegetation!!!!
Blimey  Thank you Wik!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
The risk of humans picking up liver fluke is getting higher in the UK. In the far east, a high percentage of humans already have it as the food hygiene is nowhere near as good as it is here.
It is curable, but not a nice thing to have. At a recent seminar we were shown a picture of a full grown fluke ( about the size of a 5p ) in the white of a human eye .... Very yukky ! Honest, i dont have an unhealthy obsession with these things, just part of my training for work .... So nice huh !Its just a bad day, Not a bad life .. :cool:0 -
Well I for one am grateful for the prod I'll not be eating any watercress from ditches!
A hearty hello to you all.
Tea is a chuffing away - local pork sausages, red onion gravey and king Edward mash. There will be green vegetables a plenty too.
Its smelling quite divine.
Spends today have only consisted of petrol which will be expensed later in the month.
So essentially as I took the doglets with me, despite the diversion for free pork (a whole carrier bagfrom our friendly local pig farmer lady) the days not cost much.
Nice walk around the shore today with the mutts before work and after Mr RG was dropped on ferry.
Miles about 3
Work about 5 hours (time off at xmas)
Food free - a whole bag full.
Petrol £30 but will get that back.off for some nosh.

Have had vegetable frittata.
Not as good as usual.
Also chucked some courgettes on foreman.
I have just made jelly & bunged it in the fridge.
Was out on trike earlier.

Oh well that sounds productive Beanie
sorry it wasn't a nice as it normally is. The homegrown grub here was grand.
I'm trying to lose a bit of weight too - when Mr RG is here there's far too much treaty nonsense (by both of us) and not enough salad, veggies and exercise.
Sounds like you've lost a fair bit already.
Lets keep at it
Now tot he important stuff - what kind of jelly?Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
