New plans sounds exciting. I'm sure they will be. Can't wait to find out what they are.

Yay to organising new kitchen although I find it's difficult to really organise until you've lived in it for a while and know what works best where.

I'm loving the pictures on your blog too x

Its hard with kitchens isn't it but the table is 8ft long so it only fitted in one place. My chum came over from the land of Jute and Jam and helped to move things. I do like how it is now :D

But if I do move things lets not tell her eh?;)

YAY to local cheeses having island adventures.

DD has settled in nicely (do they stand upside down on their heads the whole time in NZ - must as Chev :rotfl:)

DS was home for the weekend trying out the hammock. Clever boy that he is - he managed to try it out ALL weekend. He gave hammock and house the thumbs up.

He did leave this am with a huge bottle of elderflower cordial. Sons have a way of batting eyelids and robbing you of your last bottle of the good stuff don't they. (well second last bottle) Shhh dont' tell TRG - its his favourite 'hippy juice'.

It was a very bonnie bricht nicht last nigth thanks for asking. I'm currently librarying it again. Its quite novel this 'cafe' lifestyle

There was an flutist (is that how you spell it?) busking and a hawk tied to a railing on Friday. Most bizarre but very Golfland cosmo

So as is my new routine I get up with TRG at some ungodly hour and work til lunch. (some at home, some at the library)

And now its lunch I'm free.

Off to pester the local chook place for hens and see what plants I can sniff out at the local garden centre.

Although we had chums to visit at the weekend with a car load of plants so to be fair - I really SHOULD plant those before I find anymore.

    :D

    Have a great day chaps.

I've checked banks/cards all fine (cards empty) banks squeaky.

Have a good un - we might be 'online' tomorrow.

    Now, won't that be novel.

Must start Reds most delish elderflower cordial production today to make up for robbings.

  • Hiya pippi,

Am de-lurking at last as I have a question and I know just the girl to answer it.....do you remember my first foray into tatties (rocket variety) ? Well they are looking grand now but DH has put a handful of slug pellets in without asking me first :( I had a little furtle in the bag and there are some tatties of useable size. Will it be OK to eat them right now do you think? Any tips much appreciated please .......

BTW congratulations on the new home & splendid gardens. I love the piccies on your blog, many thanks for sharing :). Wishing you lots of wonderful new adventures x
