Totters in dusts herself off from the stoor around the paperwork and sticks the kettle on. Looks about a tips a hat at anyone about. Up to anything interesting?

    Man oh man tired today.

    Must look at banks/ccs
    Confess spends
Update everything and look ahead to a couple full weeks!

Now for some coffee and an injection of enthusiasm.

Ignores the fact that its potentially 2 months til our move as I'm in denial.

  • Hey up lasses - passes the biscuits to Beanie and oat cakes to KC.

    Hope you're both braw?

How lovely to see you both.

    Well banks are as expected.

A slight daliance to Yo sushi made a wee £22 dent but it was a treat.

Trip was subsidised by the interview travel so I only had to pay (only - doh) £100 out of my own pocket and had free nosh and acommodation down the road.

In return I have to say I did do a sterling job decluttering and cleaning TRG flat so I don't feel so guilty. Although TRG did a splendid job of treating us all a couple of times.

And I got a visit to a Snow drop garden which I love. Another £10 spent on tickets but worth the gorgeous walk that we had and we don't do it often.

Being with DS was lovely and I netted 2 months of New Scientists from him to 'recycle' so I'm fine for reading fodder for a while.

Meal continue to be out of the stores to counteract spends.

Must update the food spends as nowt out since last week.

All banks are squeaky but OK

Annoying increase in BT service and change of DD saw us cut off this am (oh the shame) mind you - if when I asked if there'd be any disruption they said NO. So was a tad cross this am.

No point in being cross to an automated machine now is there. The unreliable info of 'no we'll just take the dd money next month as its too near the changes now' has however made me cross and I feel a 'stern' letter coming on.

DD out for a drive in a mo. Dogs to walk and stuff.

Tired today, all that galavanting I suspect.

No news from job - they said early in the week - tomorrow is 'MID' week - so I'm not hopeful - TRG thinks this is me being my usual 'impatient' self.

Well, no one wrote 'patience' in the job description did they????? A patient person I cannot confess to be - I'm too busy 'doing' and getting on to be really very patient. But each to our own eh?

    :D

Mainly paperwork today and catching up on emails. Big event later in the week so not stressing too much as I'll be working most of the week/weekend.

Will update banks/etc in a mo.

Moved £75 over to CC (50 for phone bill as only had that card to hand) and 25 for an extra payment.

I'm hoping the CC (only) debts can be under £3k by the end of the month but we'll see.

    Fingers crossed.

Must must must do a meal plan - and as we all know I hate them I might just do an 'ingredients' type of plan as a half way house, we've lots in so just need to be creative with 'ingredients' on a list and that might make me happier.

    :D

Oh - excitement re scary move
TRG who's day job keeps him occupied in a factory, has asked if we can have a storage container. Unfortunately there isn't one. However - they are taking over new storage soon so we can have a 'storage container' sized patch in the new warehouse, which is all locked etc.

    Hooray hooray no storage fees.

Will get confirmation in 2 weeks as to 'where' it is but looking like it will be in 'The Bay of Spaghetti' (a local town which is called something similar) but I love the 'colloquial name, which always makes me giggle.

  • Ay up Pipster!

Oh I so feel your pain regarding the phone co........

To think that they are a 'communication giant' they are blinking hard to speak to/deal with/explain anything to/get any sense out of.

I did actually speak to a nice operative this evening though, after being put through to totally the wrong department - who were able to confirm, madam, that your broadband and phone is working........I know that

Still, fingers crossed that ours is sorted as the operative described and that yours is too :D

Thanks KC - I'm now thinking I've not got it - shame but until I hear that rubinesc lady sing, it aint over :D

Greying -- they truly are utterly rubbish.

Elidee - thanks for the giggle! That really made me laugh from me belly!

Spaghetti Bay is indeed close to the forth dearest Beanie the train goes right through it too. Does make me giggle - mind you the daftest things make me giggle. It also has one of those garden centres which sounds like the main house elf from HP. :D

Today is a smogsboard of paperwork and teaching later. Must see what I've got done for it and what's to get printed etc.

    A wee listypops first

Brekkie//lunch tea from stores - they have spag bog out as I'm not in later and I've got a nice leftover dish from last nights chinese feast (HM of course)
    Banks/cc's etc to check
Pay slip in from bean factory - must check it as sure I had 20 hours and 17 have come through.
    Walk mutts
    Bins out
    Tidy up kitchen a bit
HC to put on and put out before I head off.
Think about when to head south for meeting and if I do it in a dash with a hire van...........or just the car
    Walk mutts again
Tidy up laundry cupboard - its at the 'will attack you at any moment as you walk past stage' I honestly fear for my life.
Send in invoice for travel to interview - been putting it off as dont' want our first contact to be 'give me some money' but needs done.
Tidy a box for charity shop - take it in today.
Change windscreen wipers by self or ask TRG to do it for me
Get DD out driving and maximise insurance spends
Think about when's good to get greenhouse (thank you wik) to TRG flat.
Think about tree in said TRG's shared garden which is now a triffid - might text chum and see if between us we can organise to take it down (think of the fire wood) - I'm loathe to do it but there are 3 (birches) and its a tiny garden and they are ginormus. Also think about gino conifer blocking way into garden too. texted chum with photo and found my chainsaw trousers here and asked if I might rehome them when I leave.......
Look at applying for a job at fave garden - p/t but one day is a Saturday - not great to work every saturday - but seriously thinking about it. - :D application in!

Well that lot should keep me busy.

    Main things

    TAKE LUNCH to work.
