Pah to not hearing about job yet. Hope all is well. I remember when I got this job - took them what felt like WEEKS (but was probably about 10 days) to get back to me - turns out they were waiting for the director (who had been off with a bad back when I was interviewed) to come back to work. I ended up not starting til about 3 months after they offered it to me anyway! And I too claimed interview expenses :D Chances are expenses form will go to separate admin person though rather than person who interviewed you :)

    You sound busy :)

We're planning holidays for next week and I'm busy being sad we're not coming to Orkney! We've NEVER not been to Orkney for our big holiday, not in 8 years of being together. I thought it was best we had a change this time, but with 5 days to go we still haven't even settled on what part of the country to go to, let alone booked somewhere :o :rotfl: :rotfl: You may well yet find us down the road from you!! :rotfl:

    Hi Pippi,

Gah to not hearing from interview yet. Hopefully it's something silly like Cheery said.

Yay to lots of decluttering though. Sounds like you are making real progress. After you have finished you can "holiday" down here and do mine for me as we have come to a bit of a standstill at the moment.

I am always in amazement at the size of your to do lists *goes for a lie down* you are always so busy.

    Hope you are well x

Gah indeed starnac! Hope you're good - I hear those kids have been a bit pesky!

I had unearthed a nature activities (kids) autumn book - any use for you?

Cheery - maybe its something like that - no references taken up yet (not that I'm obsessed......)

I'm sure you'll have a super holiday wherever you land up!

More stuff off that list must update it.

Its not that I'm busy I'm just deflecting what I *should* be doing.

    :D

Richt I'm awa' tae get on with more work - finish at 9pm tonight.

    Have a good un.

I remembered both lunch and tea - go me eh?

Morning L - I hope you're good? Thanks for the positive vibes - its a 'deposit inspection' and a new tenant viewing so hopefully this month will be my last rent payment if all goes well, we'd previously agreed to allow us to use deposit as last months rent so fingers crossed.

Must get on and do a list.

    NOTHING from job.

    Bah.

Applied for THIS JOB and anyone in area - with a green fingered mind, please do have a peak - but be quick closes Friday 12pm.

Onwards to that list - machine is beeping so first load done.

Have a good un! No doubt I will be around lots creating craziness.

    Today

Well the machine is on and beeping done and that will be hung up inside soon.
Banks/cc's checked - all squeaky but OK so far. CC's gone up slightly due to interest which always makes me cross. Not sure we'll get under the £3k by the end of the month but its all heading in right direction.

    To do
    Sofa cover to wash
    Floors to clean etc
Bedrooms to hoover and straighten up
Land lady coming later to 'inspect us' for deposit back and get a new tenant coming over too.
    Tidy up garage
    Walk el mutts locally
    HM meals from cupboards
Organise fridge/freezer as its gone a bit a cropper in there.
Hope to hear from Job interview today surely?????????
Do a bit of work at home - save petrol
Might go into town later but will be for work so petrol expensed.
Finish another job application for a community gardener at my fave garden link here if anyone near Edinburgh.
Store tea tonight - thinking something fishy
DD to drive into a concert tonight make most of the spends on the insurance
Bag to charity shop if I'm out
Compost (old tomatoes) to bag up for veggie garden as a mulch
Sort through bedding and declutter it a bit
    Same for towels
    Clean bathrooms with minimum chemicals
Do some baking for treats for the chaps.
Meet a chum later to sort out a plan she has for a herb business
Talk to sis about rehoming a greenhouse
Look through bag of seeds..........and dream - no point in planting anything here but might try and get some things sorted for when move.
Phone up about an oil delivery

Lots to do and mainly at home.

Hope you all have a great day.
