Colgate Smiles for 6+ is mildy minty- my dd prefers it to ordinary toothpaste, it's worth trying to see if perhaps she;d get used to the taste for when she's older?Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

My sons hate mint. They use bicarbonate of soda toothpaste which I get from most supermarkets or health food shops or Mentadent P goes down quite well.0

You can get Kingfisher toothpaste from health food shops. It comes in aniseed flavour which is quite nice.0

I have used "Tom's of Maine" toothpaste for years - you can buy it in Holland and Barrett.

I remember there was an older thread on this, so maybe you could try searching? I think I remember people suggesting Holland and Barratts or Lush, but I haven't got time to look.
Since then we've long since run out of the apple, lemon and watermelon toothpastes and I haven't seen them for a while (used to see them in Boots and Morrisons at one point). However I have lots of sample tubes of Aquafresh and DS2 seems OK with that for now.
but it IS a problem!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
A strange request I know...
My 7 year old does not like mint toothpaste.. She had been using childrens ones but the dentist has says she really needs to start using adult toothpaste..
Does anyone know
1) Non mint adult toothpaste or
2) Which adult one is less minty!!
Sorry to ask but have tried sooo many different ones
:oi thought i was the only one, stuck with colgate deep clean its the only mint i can handle
did not know you could get different flavours (granted i only look in the supermarket) will definitely keep a look outYes Your Dukeiness0 -

I was exactly the same as a child, and even now won't use the white frothy mint ones. I used to use milk teeth strawberry flavour but moved onto colgate blue minty gel (I found the gel wasn;t as offensive!) then aquafresh.
I'm pretty sure I've seen a crest lemon one thoMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0
