A strange request I know...
My 7 year old does not like mint toothpaste.. She had been using childrens ones but the dentist has says she really needs to start using adult toothpaste..
Does anyone know
1) Non mint adult toothpaste or
2) Which adult one is less minty!!
Sorry to ask but have tried sooo many different ones

Don't know of a particular one off hand but I know there are some around as people have allergies to mint and others really hate it. A bit of a google suggests Tesco may do a mint free one and that Mentadent did a low mint one. The other place to try is the health food shops as they often have things for special diets etc.Adventure before Dementia!0

Hiya,
I feel her pain on the mintyness front, ive never liked strong mint flavours and now im pregnant im lucky i can brush my teeth at all without gagging....
so ive been using that beverly hills formula one, its not very minty at all0 -
I think that Crest do (did?) a variety of toothpastes that were mint and fruit - I think there was a lemon one, an apple one and a watermelon one. I tried them and they were only mildly minty. I think I got mine from Boots ...
You can also get Cinnamon toothpaste, although this might be too strong a flavour if she's not keen on the mint for that reason. It only seems to be made and sold in the states but you can get ot off ebay and I remember seeing an internet site that sold 'all things cinnamon' and it was available there too - my partner got addicted to it when he was in the states and I bought him some as a treat lol.0 -
My daughter was the same. We found an apple flavoured toothpaste in Boots, in the Smile range, age 6 to 12 years. She is now 11, and not looking forward to changing to adult toothpaste!0

my sons were not keen on very strong minty toothpaste either, but i have found that the boots basic brand is only mildly minty and they will use that with no problemsenjoy life, we only get one chance at it:)0

My boyfriend objects to all toothpastes except the Boots Basics one, so you could try that.
I remember there was an older thread on this, so maybe you could try searching? I think I remember people suggesting Holland and Barratts or Lush, but I haven't got time to look.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

My 7 year old hates really minty toothpaste
We bought Aquafresh, and it's a lot milder, and he loves the idea of the stripes.

My daughter also complained about the mint toothpaste, she asked the dentist what she could use and the dentist gave her some Sensodyne samples, she loved these. cant remember what tube it was but it wasnt minty in the slightest(i think it is awful)"The darkness has no answers"0
